If you want a homely experience, this is it. Don't expect fine dining or food specially designed to please your visual cravings, but oh boy do they please your taste buds! We were happy to have been suggested to take the suckling pig as a starter, which my wife and I shared. It reminded us so much of the 'hanzirata', or pig feast you'd find in Malta, with a nice touch of pecorino sauce to top it off. The cook was sublime! We then took a Carbonara - like most restaurants in Rome, a speciality - and Fettuccine with Ox Tail Ragu. Both really tasty dishes and nicely portioned! Oh, and the house wine is cheap and great! Nice surprise, highly recommended!

I have known this restaurant for a few years but after the treatment I have had especially on the last two occasions I can only leave a nice review. We came to celebrate my grandmother's 80th birthday and we left full, happy and with a bottle of wine kindly offered by the house. Excellent food, welcomed like friends. Special thanks to Simone and the other very kind waitress who proved to be professional and helpful. Definitely a must-see place if you want to eat calmly in a quiet atmosphere. Needless to say, we will definitely be back!

esaltato dalle alte recensioni (che a guardarle bene molte sono fatte da soggetti con 1 o 2 recensioni) ho voluto provare questa trattoria. Carciofo alla giudia (al costo di ben 8€) con baffi all'interno e pulito davvero male. I petali esterni immaginabili e legnosi perché Il carciofo non era stato pulito a dovere. Carbonara buona ma non esaltante (ho chiesto il pepe e non mi è mai arrivato) vino bianco della casa imbevibile. Cercano in tutti i modi di venderti la focacetta per non portarti il pane! peccato

Siamo Stati a pranzo con mi moglie e il cane in questo ristorante. Ha una vasta scelta di piatti della tradizione romana. Era sabato ed era molto affollato quindi i tempi sono stati lunghetti. Porzioni abbondanti piatti buoni, ma nulla di eccezionale. Servizio non eccezionale. Accetta cani

17/05/2025: We didn't have a reservation, but they found us a spot. The food was delicious. We ordered a glass of red wine and they served us a delicious one. The waiters were very friendly and professional. It's on a street near the Colosseum, but away from the tourist crowds.
11/05/2025: Very well located restaurant, a few steps from the Colosseum, ideal for eating after the visit. The food is quite good, with well presented dishes. The attention was pleasant at all times and the staff was very helpful. On the negative side, they offer the option of eating on the terrace, but the tables are too close together, which makes the experience not as comfortable or intimate as one would expect. Even so, it is a good option if you are looking for a well-located place with good food in the heart of Rome.
