Finally a trattoria with Roman specialties managed by Italian staff. I found the food in general very good even if the dishes were a little too tasty for my tastes. Not exactly excellent service but a note of merit to the good will of the guys who put their heart into it, they will certainly improve! The internal environment was too noisy, it was difficult to speak without having to raise one's voice

I missed about a quarter of "Bruttone" delicacies but urgent recovery is needed!
Excellent in EVERYTHING, from the dishes to the courtesy of the staff (Sergio Top for attention and efficiency).
I liked it so much that I also wanted to have lunch there on the occasion of a qualification obtained.
Next time I will experience it at dinner for the first time after countless fleeting daytime visits.

Foreign tourist here. Can’t understand the hate on some comments. Guys this is a reasonably priced casual dining place, not Michelin 3 star. I wasn’t expecting any fancy tricks but just a carefully made, home-cooked supper. These guys take their food seriously and were very responsible with their quality and price. This is THE place I would tell people about when they ask me about “iconic good food” in Rome - uncomplicated yet effective. In a city swarmed with tourist traps, this is such a gem.

Qui si mangia proprio bene. Porzioni abbondanti e tipico Romano. Da provare la zucca all uccelletta, la carbonara e la porchetta. L ambiente avrebbe bisogno di un ammodernamento, x il resto solo cose positive

Locale affollato, clienti che arrivano senza aver prenotato, tavoli da apparecchiare, tavoli da sparecchiare, gente da servire dentro e fuori. Non perdono la calma servono tutti, col sorriso e la simpatia. Questo significa SERVIZIO.
Indirizzo super consigliato, prezzi davvero competitivi, porzioni generose e cibo molto buono.
