This is definitely not your "usual" Chinese restaurant. Excellent food with different ideas compared to the typical Chinese menu. For example, instead of spring rolls they serve a sort of fried rolls, filled according to taste (we had them filled with prawns), which are much lighter and less oily. Even the steamed ravioli (filled with Cinta Senese pork) were a nice "tasteful" surprise compared to the usual ones which, generally, don't have much character. Very attentive but still discreet service. Sore point: the chairs, which we found really uncomfortable. The price is quite high, but so is the satisfaction with the meal.

In my opinion, it is the best Chinese restaurant in Rome. The dishes are all excellently prepared, the proposal is broad and well-articulated and the quality of the ingredients is always at a very high level. Basic wine list but with interesting labels. In the dining room Giorgia, Mamun and Shahien guarantee an efficient, courteous and very professional service, moving with discretion but always attentive to satisfying the needs of the guests. A bonus certainly goes to the elegant and comfortable venue, as well as to the careful arrangement of the tables which guarantees the right distances between them and avoids gatherings and unpleasant surroundings,
as unfortunately happens in most restaurants in this city.

I went to Dao Restaurant on Valentine's Day: it may have been the tasting menu, but overall it was a mediocre experience. The quality/price ratio was absolutely not convenient - we ate what we could have found in any Chinese restaurant. I was disappointed, maybe I'll go back on a normal evening.

Definitely another touch compared to the canonical Chinese restaurants.....other flavours, other raw materials....good taste on everything...refinement in the presentation of the dishes...more expensive but worth it.

An exceptional place. Very nice environment with distinct areas, with themed furnishings.
There is a serene atmosphere, attentive staff, quality food.
The owner has also selected the kitchen staff well.
To try and try again to enjoy China here in Rome

A certainty for years now.
Definitely a cut above other Chinese restaurants especially for some dishes such as turbot (exceptional), grilled ravioli (delicious) as well as those with squid ink.

Celebrated our 20th anniversary here. Good ambiance. They have very authentic Chinese Cuisine. 👌So good I think I’m about to dream of it tonight.. ☺️
We tried baozi, involtini, spaghetti di soia and pancetta con salsa (really melts in your mouth) they served it with steamed buns and we really loved it. The mango cheesecake was also good.
They also have very nice and accommodating staffs.
I greatly recommend it to everyone.

Very good Chinese restaurant. I have often seen very poorly maintained Chinese restaurants. This one, on the contrary, is very chic and refined, the cuisine is good and there are many dishes on the menu. Very tasty food, I recommend the rice noodles with beef and vegetables. The desserts didn't convince me so much. Honest prices.

Luogo molto accogliente e anche il servizio, piatti molto buoni e diversi dagli altri ristoranti cinesi, se non fosse stato per il pollo piccante fatto con pochi pezzettini di pollo ricoperti da peperoncini interi molto piccanti che componevano la metà del piatto se non di più.

Locale molto accogliente, con cucina a vista. Il cibo è ben presentato, gustoso. Provati vari antipasti (😀) e secondi di pesce (gamberi 😏) e carne (maiale, molto buono 😀), oltre ai dolci (😏) e birra cinese (🤪) Personale gentile, non economico.
