Pasticceria Dani is a regular stop for family breakfast. Every time we go, we're impressed by the quality of the products and the professionalism and helpfulness of the staff. Whenever we're in the area, we always choose the same place, and we're never disappointed.

I took a trip from Verona (where I currently live) to Opera (where I grew up) just for Dani's zeppole, and it was definitely worth it. I've eaten countless zeppole in my life, but Dani's are unbeatable! The best ever, like everything they make!

Hotel Ristorante La Rampina

19/04/2026: Great location for visiting Milan. Metro 10 minutes walk away. Very good breakfast, warm welcome, impeccable room service. The downsides are the bathroom (small and rather minimalist) and the soundproofing. Good bedding and secure parking. Shops nearby (pizza, ice cream parlor, etc.). Very good value for money.
15/04/2026: Even though the hotel is a little dated, it is comfortable, with clean rooms and an excellent breakfast.

Henry's Cafe

04/07/2026: Staff is very welcoming and they try their best to accommodate everyone. We have been there to watch sports and the staff has always made it possible, even with less popular sports in Italy!
01/07/2026: Decent place to watch the World Cup matches, and they have a good selection of beers. The problem is getting some service in a timely fashion, or at all. 10-15 minutes for them to pour and deliver a beer to the table, especially when they're not at all crowded, just isn't very good. Otherwise, the place is pretty cool.
