Quintessential Roman bakery. The old man making coffee was fantastic, nice and helpful with our lack of speaking Italian. My wife and I had a cappuccino and a couple pastries. It was loaded with locals coming and going. Seemed like everyone knew each other.

Very close to Plaza Espanya, the food is very good and the price is good for the area it is in. The service is very slow. There were only 5 tables and it took more than half an hour to serve us. I would only go back for the quality of the food

I came here to eat a snack and drink a coke. The service was okay, and so was the food. Indeed, a €5 coke is probably a bit expensive, even though the place is well located.

The reviews weren't promising, but we wanted some sfogliatellas and some crème puffs, and it was right across the street from the apartment, so we took a chance, and they were delicious! We went back two more times.

We went as a family of five. We ate very well on the terrace. The food was delicious. They don't charge a service charge (while most other places charge €2 per person). The waiters were very friendly and attentive, and we provided excellent service and advice.

Pizza tasted good, but the base was a terrible texture. Staff/service no good. Waited over half an hour just to pay bill as couldnt get anyones attention. Good location

24/05/2025: Ottime le tartare ! Periodicamente vengo da Maxela per ordinarle tutte e godermi una bella serata la centro di Roma. Ottimo rapporto qualità/ prezzo.
12/05/2025: Terrasse agréable. Service efficace et souriant. Choix de plats classiques comme dans tout le quartier (dans tout Rome ?). Pas extraordinaire mais plus que correct.
