We're two friends and we had a really enjoyable evening :)
The waiter, a tall guy with a tattoo on his arm, was incredibly kind and super friendly. He made us smile more than once with his wit and cheerful demeanor. It's rare to find people so approachable yet professional.
The pizza was delicious, with fresh ingredients and a light dough, and the wait time was more than adequate.
A welcoming place, a relaxed atmosphere, and impeccable service.
We'll definitely be back, even just to recapture the wonderful energy we felt throughout the evening! 🍕😊

The pizza is in no way inferior to the one across the street.

We loved this restaurant. They have great service and delicious pizzas. We also tried the calamari as a snack, and it was delicious. Highly recommended.

What a wonderful wonderful night at d'Angeli!!!! Salvatore our waiter made our night fantastic. we had 3 types of pizza and each was glorious. Desserts and Amaro topped off the meal thanks to his suggestions.

Not impressed by the pizza.
Not bad, but not up to the standard of many pizzerias.
Strategically located across from the most famous pizza place.
Payment of "cover" prices.
Even the drinks are expensive: €8 for two Cokes.

I was ignored 3 times for a table, even at the front of the line. I almost said to myself that you obviously couldn't eat alone, which one of the waiters overheard, and then suddenly found me a table. Four cheese pizza with extra ham was nice enough. Unfortunately, my dining experience was ruined by the American mother and daughter duo next to me. Totally put me off my food. Ate like pigs. I almost gave them an etiquette lesson in how to hold and use cutlery. Terrible. Even the other neighbouring tables stared. This place obviously gets all the people from San Michele across the road that don't want to wait 3 hours for a margharita pizza.

Después de pasar todo el día conociendo Nápoles, nos apetecía probar la pizza margarita de la famosa Pizzería Da Michelle. Cuando nos íbamos acercando vimos una inmensa cola para entrar. No se cuantas horas de espera hubiesen hecho falta. Lógicamente decidimos buscar otra opción. Y mas cerca no podría estar. A solo unos metros nos llevamos la grata sorpresa de disfrutar de una buenísima pizza que nada tiene que envidiar a ninguna otra. Tienes dos opciones o pierdes mucho tiempo en una cola sin sentido o justo enfrente tienes una pizza de categoría.
