Dal mi Cocco In Perugia

Courtesy and quality! With a set menu, I didn't expect to eat so well! Everything was delicious and high-quality! Kindness and courtesy from all the staff.

We had dinner last night. The menu is fixed and costs 18 euros per person (drinks not included). The dishes change daily. Yesterday, which was Friday, the menu was: an appetizer of three focaccias (tomato, potato, and onion, delicious!!). Two first courses: yesterday they had square soup with chickpeas and homemade tagliatelle with tomato and basil sauce. Everything was excellent. The second course was fried chicken and mixed salad, followed by vin santo with tozzetti, also homemade. The staff was very kind and attentive. We had told them we would be coming with my dog, Olivia, and they were very kind to her too. Everything was truly excellent: food, service, and attention. Highly recommended!!!

Wow! My favourite place to eat in Perugia for sure! I got the pleasure of meeting Giovanni on Friday and eating at his amazing restaurant. I wish I took photos of the meals because they were so goddamn delicious and I need you to understand just how divine the food is!! I can’t remember the last time I had chicken that yummy, and the chickpea pasta was done perfectly. It’s a shame that I live five hours away in Milan otherwise I would become a regular at the restaurant. I really like their system of a set menu because it saves indecisiveness of having to pick something to eat. The atmosphere in the restaurant is authentic italian which is exactly what an Australian like me looks for when travelling. I look forward to when I come back to Perugia so I can return to dal mi’ cocco. I also recommend trying their own house wine and buying a bottle to take home with you. Overall it was 10/10 experience, I’m recommending this place to all my friends and family! Thanks Giovanni, what a great night, I look forward to seeing you (and Simone) again soon :)

Brilliant place, fantastic atmosphere, delicious food, decent prices.

A quaint place. Simple but very good food. Delicious homemade pasta, tender and flavorful mixed roast. The panzanella is a salad with breadcrumbs, very good. And to finish, a unique dessert, reminding you of your mother's. They also pay great attention to allergies/intolerances. The only thing I noticed was the dim lighting. Coming from outside, it's very dark, but then the view adjusts. Definitely a choice based on the type of environment. We had a very, very good lunch, highly recommended.

Best value for money and wonderful service

I've been there four times in the last three months. I'm very pleased with the fixed-price option. All the pasta is handmade, and they offer two first courses, which is why I love them, being a flour addict. The owner is friendly and discreet. The service is quick and friendly. Reservations are essential, however. It's located very close to the University for Foreigners, and there's a large paid parking lot nearby.

Oh, and what can I say? Da mi cocco has become our favorite restaurant. I don't know where to start, the dishes are generous for the price, but not only that, they're also delicious, which is not a given. My dad and I were blown away by the delicious chickpea soup. For their set menu, €18 is more than fair! A wonderful experience, worth repeating!

Only a fixed menu for lunch, but excellent value. The space is a bit cramped, and the tables are close together. Conveniently located in the center of Perugia.
