Bought a small sweet to eat on the go on my last walk around Venice. Traditional sweets, cheap price, nice service.

Local coffees and pastries at affordable prices and of good quality, to be enjoyed like the Italians at the bar

The cappuccino and croissant are so delicious! It tastes a bit like a cornmeal croissant. It has a subtle cornbread flavor. Even the basic (empty) croissant is on the sweeter side.🤤 I went around 7 am on a Thursday thinking I might have an Italian breakfast, and locals were standing close together, eating coffee and bread before heading to work. Overall, it had a lively local morning atmosphere! It is a system where you order, pay, and pick up your food immediately at the counter. There is no separate seating area.

Excellent pastry shop near the train station. The cream-filled pastries and traditional Venetian desserts are delicious. Fair prices and friendly staff. The only downside is that inside, besides humans, you're likely to find pigeons having breakfast.

I stopped by Pasticceria Dal Mas during a quick visit and, while I may not have picked the best pastry from their wide selection, I still enjoyed the the coffee, it was actually good, perfect for a quick morning boost before heading out to explore more of the city. This isn’t really the kind of place where you sit down and relax for a long time. Most of the setup is more for standing, with just a few tables. It feels more like a grab and go recharged kind of spot rather than a cozy cafe to linger in. The pastries all looked amazing, beautifully displayed and very tempting, but I think I just chose the wrong one this time. Since we were in a hurry and didn’t want anything too heavy.
Pasticceria Dal Mas is a historic Venetian establishment. It's often crowded and there are no tables. We ate standing at the counter.
The service, however, was friendly.
We tried a chocolate Kranz (paid by weight). It cost €6.80 and was disappointing.
It was rather dry, almost stale, although the flavor wasn't bad.
The Venetian fugassetta, on the other hand, was exceptional: incredibly soft and still warm inside. Truly delicious.
Would I go back? Only for the fugassetta and a quick coffee.

The desserts and coffee were both delicious. The prices were reasonable. You could only eat standing up inside.

For breakfast, it's the best; it has the best croissants in all of Venice.
Remember to get the receipt first.

Pastry shop just a stone's throw from the transit station, pay attention to the prices in the window as they are priced per 100g, so a chocolate kranz from €3.80 per 100g becomes €7 (a single pastry), still good
