Today, January 6th, we stopped for breakfast, and came back for afternoon coffee, accompanied by an excellent pancake, everything good, we will return, thanks for the nice break

Delicious desserts, coffee, and tea at reasonable prices. There are several high tables inside. The only thing is, when we were there, about 20-30 minutes before closing, they started actively clearing the counters (I wanted to buy something to take home), and I had to ask the girl to return the tray of desserts she was about to take away. Of course, she wasn't very pleased.

It's a tiny pastry shop with high tables and a counter for a quick bite. Everything is delicious and homemade. It's definitely worth stopping here for breakfast. The staff is friendly and will explain everything if you have any questions.

I had a croissant with pistachio cream. The cream was rich, not too sweet, and delicious. It cost about 2.20 euros. Anyway, I'll definitely go back if I ever come back to Venice.^^

09/08/2025: My previous review has a terrible spelling mistake!! Spell check wrote Admin instead of the wonderful Armin. The perfect host at Why and Not. We would go back in a heart beat for the food and also the staff.

15/01/2026: An excellent, traditional Venetian restaurant, definitely a wonderful discovery. The service is top-notch: upon entry, they fix your jacket, and a welcome aperitif awaits, with butter, bread, and crostini. We split a portion of sardines in saor and two first courses. Everything was delicious, with the pasta creamy and featuring a lot of seafood. The price is certainly a bit high compared to most places (€105 including wine and coffee), but I must also say that in Venice these days, it's impossible to eat this well at a—pardon the expression—"fair" price. Regardless, I highly recommend this place for its retro ambience and attentive customer service. The dessert trolley is also wonderful.
09/01/2026: It's a classic Venetian restaurant. The risotto al Nero di Seppia is one of the best we've ever had. Absolutely delicious. All the dishes we ordered were very good. They charge 5 euros per person for the cutlery and the bread, which was also terrible. The service is adequate. They have a very good wine list.
