The food was great and affordable, great price quality. The boar was amazing as was their pici carbonara. The service could improve a bit though: even if we were the only customers, we were told we "can get the babychair if we wanted it", and the waiter asked us if we wanted dessert when we were still waiting for a dish - not sure if the order was passed to the kitchen before, but he did know we ordered it. Atmosphere is typical of a family Trattoria, nothing fancy but as expected, somewhat cosy. The only place so far with a baby changing table, though the toilet has no lock.

Excellent dishes. Reasonable prices Small downside: the salad (arugula) which accompanies the starters deserves a drizzle of olive oil and a few drops of balsamic vinegar.

Place chosen by chance but the food was a real surprise. Traditional Umbrian dishes cooked with extreme skill, without frills and using top quality ingredients. Highly recommended if you find yourself passing through Castiglione del Lago. Compliments to the chef :)
