The host (owner) is very nice. The food is impeccable. The prices are affordable. We recommend it.

Good food
Waits were practically zero, the ordered dishes arrived immediately.
Excellent account.
However, I would recommend putting fewer tables in such a small room, since throughout the evening a waiter asked us to move because he couldn't get through, among other things he didn't even ask us in a polite manner, on the contrary.
Furthermore, in such a small room it was not even possible to speak as the voices of others echoed.
I also noticed little courtesy from a lady, who I believe was even the owner. A few more smiles wouldn't hurt.
I honestly wouldn't go back.
The friendly owner yes, but even less so.

If you are in the wonderful Martina Franca and you want to eat a bit of Puglia, go to Enrico and his wife, you will be welcomed by a true restaurateur who knows what care for the raw materials and quality of cooking means. He will be able to give you advice on the menu, taking you on a journey into the world of dairies and delicatessens (since he is a member of a delicatessen that also produces for his restaurant). Not to mention the bowls of goulash livers, in short, everything cooked with expert skill.
The price? As they say, by honest people who live to bring the word of Apulian cuisine around the world.
Congratulations and if you go to Martina Franca from "Il brigante" do not go as tourists but as guests (cit)

Discovered almost by chance as soon as we arrived in Martina Franca... Enrico immediately welcomed us with a smile and recommended a super appetizer... followed by orecchiette with turnip greens... delicious!
Over 7 days, we had 5 dinners at "Dal Brigante"...Enrico, his wife Grazia and all the guys are helpful and friendly...Excellent quality food, when we return to Puglia we will definitely stop by!
You are simply amazing!

We were warmly welcomed by the owner of the restaurant who made us feel at ease from the start. We feel at home in a caring and friendly environment. Too bad we didn't speak Italian but our hearts were there. It's generous, local cuisine like the wine offered which is delicious. We had a very good evening with a personality like you don't often meet. THANKS!

A quaint restaurant where we were immediately warmly welcomed by the entire staff. The pizza is handcrafted and of great quality and anyone who likes good, down-to-earth food in something different and familiar Ambrosia will get their money's worth here. Dopo esserci persi per i bellissimi vicoli di Martina Franca , siamo capitati in questo grazioso locale per il pranzo .
Che dire….
Accoglienza calorosa , piatti fantastici , antipasti con formaggi e capocollo , poi carne alla brace e vino Primitivo favolosi ….
Il titolare ci ha anche offerto assaggi del loro goulasch a dir poco delizioso , olio evo e n’duja tipici della zona .
Ci ha inoltre dato consigli su dove acquistare prodotti locali come vini di qualità …
Quando torneremo in Puglia ripassare di qui sarà un must !!!
