We tried this place based on the many positive reviews, and I can say it was a pleasant discovery. I'd return 1,000 times over. I'll start with the heart of the place: the waiters. All young and ready to accommodate our every request, always friendly and extremely kind. We started with an appetizer each, all delicious, but we were surprised by the veal chops, horsemeat chops, and goulash. Words can't explain it; you have to try it to believe it. The meat melted in your mouth and reminded me of grandma's Sunday sauce. We continued with the mixed roast meat (if you must try the pizza, I recommend one roast for every two people). The bombette were truly tasty. We had two pizzas: the Margherita, very good, and the Martinese, the latter a must-try. The dough was very light and crispy. Dessert was a must-try. We ordered homemade tiramisu, and it couldn't have been better. A MUST TRY!!! Thanks to the owner, who makes sure nothing is left over and recommends what to bring so nothing goes to waste. Thanks again, and we'll definitely be back!!

We went there on Sunday for lunch to celebrate a friend's birthday. The restaurant has a rustic feel and is beautifully decorated. We had a fantastic meal! Cold and hot appetizers: platters of cured meats and cheeses, horse and pork rolls, small birds, meatballs, zucchini chips with parmesan shavings; first courses: porcini agnolotti, both plain and with cherry tomatoes... And last but not least, the fantastic grilled bombette, sausage, and chicken livers accompanied by grilled potatoes drizzled with olive oil. Top-quality ingredients, expertly seasoned. The owner, Enrico, is a very friendly person, explained the menu to us and gave us excellent suggestions. We had a great time. 5 stars are not enough; they deserve 10!

A great experience, the welcome and service are top notch, the food is incredible (homemade). The restaurant owner is adorable. In short, I recommend it 100%. Very good value for money. (It's not a tourist trap). We tried it twice.

Welcoming place, very friendly and hospitable owner, who picked us up in his car outside the historic center. We ate the legendary bombette, they were fantastic. A wonderful experience.

The owner of this restaurant is definitely the one that made the biggest impression on me. He's very hospitable, friendly, and, above all, knows his way around the restaurant business. The food was good, especially the typical dishes, but at a certain point we couldn't stand it anymore because the owner, just to make us try other dishes, served us more dishes than we'd asked for 😅. The dining room staff was very efficient and courteous, except for a few small delays due to the rapidly growing number of customers. The only downside was perhaps the location, as there was very little distance between the tables, and at a certain point we had a hard time talking, but I understand that in those typical places, restaurant spaces are always very limited. I would gladly return, however, and I recommend it especially to those who want to eat typical dishes without spending a fortune... when they brought us the bill, we thought they'd made a mistake!

Excellent 5 stars are not enough, kind and fast waiters, kind owner. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IF YOU WANT TO EAT TOP MEAT!

We ate here this summer and what can I say... a truly exceptional experience! Unique quality products, exquisite dishes. The service was kind and friendly, while the charming and peaceful location made the evening even more enjoyable. A special thanks to Enrico, the owner: people like him are rare. He accompanied us throughout dinner, sharing his story and 40 years of business. And, with rare generosity, he even drove us downtown on his golf cart and back to the parking lot after our stroll.
