Historic venue in the area, restaurant with pizzeria with wood-fired oven. Family-run place... mainly fish cuisine, although there is no shortage of land-based options.... family atmosphere....

After about 3 years from my last review where I gave three stars because of the high price on excellent but little food, I am forced to change because having come at least three more times later I noticed that the quality is always excellent and the dishes are the right quantity for the Italian palate. Compliments!

...but... it's not like every time my friends and I go I have to write a review, I've been going there for more than twenty years, there must be a reason, I haven't become an idiot... Google is broken. .. 😄😄😄😄 ...a tip for those who like fish... if I remember correctly, "la totanata" pizza with squid rings is a real joy for the palate...

18/04/2025: We ate there on a Sunday midday. Yes eat very well at a good price. The place is nice with a nice central fireplace. The only comment is that I would have preferred more generous starters and first courses.
16/03/2025: I love "Il Contado del Gobbo" for its elegance, between the warmth of the fireplace, the view of the piano, the background music makes everything romantic and unique, suitable for any type of event. The friendliness of the owners is unique and is difficult to find at these levels. The food is delicious, right portions and top quality and you can feel it when you eat it and if you put the love with which it is made it doubles the goodness. As I have already done other times I highly recommend it.
