Lovely meal in Cisternino.
A hidden gem of a place but well worth finding.
We shared an antipasti as a starter and for main courses we had Vitello e Polpette (meatballs) and Coniglio Cacciatora (rabbit) with a mixed salad.
The food was delicious (I think the rabbit dish was possibly the best meal I had in two weeks of travelling through Italy) and complemented by a lovely house red wine.
Service and prices were all excellent - would definitely recommend this place.

What a discovery! So many beautiful and packed places on a Tuesday in early September, we opted for this restaurant a bit out of necessity... and instead, everything was delicious at a fair price! Just one piece of advice: order the mixed appetizers and then decide for yourself, because they are plentiful and delicious!

The place had a family atmosphere; it felt like I was at my grandmother's house. It smelled like childhood. I loved the place, the food was good, the drinks were good, and the waiters were super committed.

A quiet place with a large outdoor terrace. The charcuterie and cheese platter is a testament to the high-quality ingredients used. The bread is wonderful. The location is beautiful, away from the crowded and chaotic center.

Craving something tasty and traditional? Da Tonia is the place to be. From the entrance, a few steps lead to the well-kept garden. The menu is packed with delicacies, from pizza to roast meats. The selection of local products is highly appreciated. Prices are a bit higher than average, but it's worth it.

Fantastic food! We had some of all the starters (8 people). They were beautiful. Then pizza which was 10 out of 10! Sabrina, our waitress, was magnificent. A lovely person. Grazie mille!

Very simple place with an internal garden. The strong point is the quality of the dishes that are those of the local tradition. Orecchiette with turnip tops and broad beans and chicory above all; very high quality with simple preparation but adhering to the original recipe.

Quite poor and lacking in everything....
Meat so hard (not tender!) that I choked, I chewed it for over 3 minutes, a piece and in the end I either swallowed it whole or had to put it in a napkin and hide... horror! I even paid with the why!
Really cold and quite annoyed staff... the waitress kept bumping into my chair from behind as she passed and never once said SORRY!
tiny portions! quite expensive prices...
I don't recommend it and I would never go back.
