We stayed in the pension which is in a central and convenient location: near the station and in the pedestrian area. The rooms are simple, clean and spacious Delicious breakfast The atmosphere is familiar For dinner in the restaurant, well-made typical dishes, really tasty Of all of us, we were won over by the ravioli del plin with braised sauce... Delicious! The owner was kind and helpful with our requests.

We stayed overnight in the Sciolla inn the evening before the trip with the feuillage train. The inn is located in the center, a 5-minute walk from the station. Excellent rooms, spotlessly clean and delicious breakfast. We had a great time! Friendly and attentive welcome from the managers. Absolutely recommendable!

I had an excellent time at Locanda da Sciolla, a welcoming structure located in the historic center of Domodossola. Functional, warm room and very comfortable bed. Nice restaurant with excellent local dishes and quick and friendly service.

Sappiate che esiste anche un menu alla carta anche se spingono per quello fisso di due portate più dolce a 30 e 35 euro . Noi siamo stati incastrati e poi abbiamo visto altri chiedere la carta. Non si mangia male, prodotti locali e di qualità ma è una cucina un po’ “vecchia” . Sull’obbligo di prendere almeno due piatti sono rimasta basita…. Per questo non vi torneremo anche se la padrona è stata gentile offrendoci un limoncino finale viste le nostre perplessità.

Frequentiamo questo ristorante da 25 anni, poco dopo l'apertura. Un po' di più quando c'era un menu di pesce, e non avevamo intolleranze alimentari. Professionali, la signora di una gentilezza squisita. Classica cucina regionale rivisitata, vasta scelta non banale.. Menù pranzo mirato agli svizzeri a 29 euro, basta evitarlo prendendo alla carta.

08/12/2024: Fantastic 👍 top food and very kind staff.. we had to book 1 month in advance due to the Christmas markets but it was worth it. I recommend it to anyone in the area 👍
