On our trip to Puglia, we visited various restaurants in Oria. Here it is inexpensive but of very good quality. Italians meet in the evening and taste various delicacies. Just like in typical Italian restaurants, it is loud and simply decorated. The service was also typically Italian, funny, fast and attentive. After the antipasti you don't really need to order anymore. It was very varied and sufficient (meat, fish, vegetables, even tripe, it was all there!).

Arrived right at 12:30 when they opened. Just had to wait a few minutes for a table, which was not a problem for us. The orichiette braciole was delicious as was a side (contorno) of grilled vegetables. As with many "pizzerias" in this area, pizza is only on the dinner, not lunch, menu. They use the pizza oven for meat at lunch. Friendly service and beautiful but unpretentious room. Definitely a place for locals but we felt welcome as well.

Una tipica trattoria, dove fortunatamente il tempo si è fermato. La cucina tradizionale pugliese riporta alla cucina casalinga, quella vera, quella in famiglia. Fate una sosta non ve ne pentirete.
