On our way back we stopped for dinner in the lovely town of magliano. Da Sandra offered excellent food and service. The waiters were charming and the meat tender as can be! It was a real pleasure to dine in the steady streets, and if it wasn’t for my ever expanding waistline I’d still be sitting there. We‘ll be back & can sincerely recommend da Sandra.

Very well-kept restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere in the center of the town. Very popular so I highly recommend booking in advance. As appetizers we tried the mix of vegetable tarts, very good and a tartare with fried egg amazing! Like a Florentine steak served with the hot plate aside to heat it up (it was very useful). For dessert an excellent apple clafoutis recommended by the very kind lady who served us. I give 4 stars because we wanted to share a slice of about 800g but, since it ran out, they offered us a Florentine steak (obviously more expensive) of similar weight. The weight was almost double, so the bill turned out to be decidedly salty. Having said that, excellent and quality food!

Having discovered Da Sandra, I think it was the most appropriate and pleasant thing about these days in Magliano. We ate there for lunch and dinner 2 days. Well it takes too long to explain how good the dishes we tried were. Definitely the place where I ate the best Maremma crostini. Amazing tagliolini with truffle, exceptional wild boar and pigeon...I should dedicate a separate chapter to it. A spectacle! Homemade cantucci without equal! Very warm and friendly service. You don't feel like a customer but one of the family. Rustic atmosphere is very warm. In short, I believe that the best thing you can do if you come to Magliano is to try Sandra's food!

Restaurant that was recommended to us in Magliano in Toscana. Excellent location in the historic center. It was necessary to book even in the middle of the week. We tried two excellent starters, special mention for the tartare with fried egg, and we split some meat. Our intention was to share a slice of around 800g which however we were informed was finished. At that point, whoever took the order suggested we try a Florentine steak at a higher price but "small, more or less the same weight". Moral of the story we were served a 1.4kg Florentine steak and the difference on the bill was enormous. Beyond this "misunderstanding" the meat was exceptional and we appreciated the plate for keeping it warm.

Ottimo ristorante tipico toscano, ambientazione e cibo in perfetto stile tradizionale. Il locale è molto gradevole con i suoi soffitti in legno e tavoloni, si entra in una casa tipica dei borghi. Il cibo è veramente buono, dagli antipasti al dolce non vi deluderà. La cucina è quella classica della zona con piatti presenti tutto l’anno ed altri secondo i prodotti stagionali. Le porzioni sono abbondanti e soddisfano sia l’occhio che il palato.
Ben fornita la cantina con vini del territorio e non solo. Molto attento il servizio, senza mai essere invadenti i camerieri passano spesso tra i tavoli a controllare che tutto sia ok. Prezzi giusti e per tutte le tasche. Consigliato.
