The first time I entered the restaurant was in 1993...
I've been a loyal customer for 33 years.
Never once dissatisfied.

After a walk in the snow at Laceno Lake, we had lunch at this restaurant.
Being Sunday, we were offered the set menu, a perfect choice given the variety and quality. We started with a lavish house antipasto: cured meats, fresh dairy products, and an excellent pan of melted scamorza cheese with mushrooms and escarole.
The highlight was definitely the fresh homemade pasta: we were served six different types (including ravioli, scialatielli, and orecchiette), all topped with the freshest ingredients. Next, the meat course was truly spectacular: a huge "spadone" with mixed cuts (lamb, veal, sausage) served on a wooden cutting board with chips, salad, and eggplant. The meat was cooked to perfection, and the portions were decidedly generous.
The tiramisu could be improved; I wasn't thrilled with the house amaro. The place is a bit dated and could use a makeover, but that's overshadowed by the delicious food and friendly staff. Highly recommended, I'll definitely be back!

Friendly staff who are busy but helpless with the amount of work. I recommend booking. The menu is almost set with two options, priced from €30/€33 (drinks not included). It's hard to understand the portion sizes, for example, the skewer and fries in the salad for four people. I have to ask ANTONINO CANNAVACCIUOLO if it's possible. The quality of the food is fresh but average. For example, the meat skewer is unclear what animal it is, apart from the sausage. The appetizer consists of slices of fresh ham, small mozzarella (less than 100g), a small square of polenta, a bruschetta (mine included a slice of salami). The first courses are fresh homemade pasta, served a bit overcooked for my taste (various flavors of pasta, porcini mushrooms, truffle, and sauce). Four adults, one celiac, and one seven-year-old girl (children's menu). For a total of €198.50. After 30 minutes or more, dessert hasn't arrived at the table. Suitable for a day trip.

The dining room is a bit old-fashioned, but that's precisely what gives it a special touch. The food was good, the service was average. All in all, it was a good experience.

A very welcoming place, although in my opinion it could use a bit of updating. They offer both a fixed menu and an à la carte. We chose the fixed meat menu for €30, drinks not included.
The menu we ordered included a nice appetizer of mixed cured meats, a small piece of polenta with tomato and porcini mushrooms, a cherry tomato (which I didn't particularly like), and a nice arugula salad with cheese shavings. Overall, it wasn't bad. They also offer six tastings of really good first courses, and I think most of them were homemade. For the second course, there's a very varied mixed grill that includes: half a sausage, half a skewer, a pork steak, a piece of beef, and a slice of lamb, all really good.
To finish, a slice of tiramisu, although they made us wait a bit too long to bring it.
All in all, I'll definitely be back. The value for money is excellent, and the place and bathrooms are very clean.
The only advice I feel like giving is that when there are too many people, it's better to get some extra help in the dining room. The menu app is better so that you can see all the first courses that the set menu contains.

Excellent product quality, delicious dinners, rustic, local cuisine at reasonable prices. It's a 30-minute drive from Avellino city center.
