I'm a regular at this restaurant, having been going there for almost 20 years. Although cooking is an art, and often a difficult one, in all these years I've never had a meal that fell far short of the restaurant's standards, which are significantly above average. I'm a regular restaurant patron because I have a passion for flavor, both local and international, with gastronomic excursions even outside the region. Yet, I think I can safely say that this place is the best for me, for the following reasons: professionalism in terms of hospitality, kindness, and ambiance, excellent culinary skills, quality ingredients, and, last but not least, a quality/price ratio that is unmatched in a restaurant world where most restaurateurs should become robbers.

Very good pizza. It has an inside dining area and a small terrace in the back. Reservations are recommended in August.

A very authentic Italian dining experience. Very welcoming, attentive staff. The owner greets all his guests with a friendly smile and handshake. The food was excellent and very well priced. Highly recommend this restaurant if you find yourself in that neck of the woods.

Cena di compleanno. Subito veniamo fatti accomodare e accolti da Plinio, fantastici gli antipasti, che da soli basterebbero. Infine abbiamo preso dei fini fini al salmone. Buonissimi

Sono stato spesso in questo locale e posso dire che si mangia veramente bene piatti abbondanti e di ottima qualità,pesce veramente fresco. Personale molto competente e all'altezza in particolar modo la direttrice di Sala.

18/06/2025: We had lunch as a family on Sunday, June 15, 2025, in this restaurant with medieval decor nestled in a small, typical Lazio village (Casalvieri) and it was a delicious moment not only for the excellent flavor of each dish but also for the warm welcome from Marco and Zio who, above all, gave us a little history lesson of this unique place. We learned that this restaurant was also a refuge for the "partigiani" during the Second World War. The dishes are generous and the beef is of high quality! Marco insisted on presenting us on a platter several ribs of beef so that my husband and cousin could choose them, which is rare! The hamburgers are also divine, accompanied by skillfully prepared potatoes or green vegetables! Of course, the antipasto (mix of cold cuts, various cheeses, white beans in sauce, etc.) was also a real delight. Not to mention the desserts... I can only recommend this restaurant 100% and in all objectivity!!!!

13/09/2025: A beautiful and characteristic restaurant in the historic heart of Sora. In nice weather, you can dine al fresco on the picturesque Canceglie street. The mountain antipasto is tasty and plentiful, featuring cured meats, cheeses, and vegetables, along with rustic pizzas and frittatas. The amatriciana and mixed roast meats are delicious. The staff is attentive and friendly.

From the pasta to the perfectly cooked meats and local specialties, everything tasted like it was made with love and tradition. The staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel like part of the family. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with a true Italian charm that made the evening unforgettable. If you’re in Sora, this restaurant is a must-visit—we can’t wait to come back!
