Went to try the famous Alghero paella. Intense flavors and good quality raw materials. Excellent for a quiet and hearty dinner.

We came for lunch and decided to take the tasting menu which included an entrée offered by them, an appetizer consisting of tuna tartare (which was well enhanced with the lemon zest), fricozze, potato-like meatballs with a base of cherry tomatoes , fried cod with onion jam made by them, we're already off to a great start... then we moved on to the first course, a nice hearty paella that we struggled to finish but it was really a shame, too good to leave it. Then we moved on to the desserts, I had a Catalan cream (one of the best I've ever eaten, taking just the cream at first it seemed slightly heavy but then taking the sugar crust it was perfect on the palate) my boyfriend a seada which he appreciated as much as I did . To conclude, a myrtle and coffee. Unforgettable experience.

Today we had lunch at the Alamo restaurant in Alghero. We appreciated the kindness of the staff and the quality of the food. Excellent starters and unsurpassed paella. Value for money ok. An experience definitely worth repeating.

Nice place, very kind and professional staff, the raw materials used were very good, unfortunately I can't give 5 stars because we had 2 first courses, one with clams and one with scampi, good fish, but the pasta didn't taste like anything, it looked like it was white , with the scampi placed on top. Small things to review but they make a big difference.

Starting from the appetizers and ending with the dessert and myrtle, it was an experience. unforgettable. Highly recommended if you want to eat an excellent paella!!

We had a great time. The cruditas were fabulous and the paella was wonderful. Quick and kind. However, there is always a however... at the time of booking via the site the restaurant only books by credit card and takes Euro 0.50 which is then not refunded or perhaps not refunded to the card that was used to make the reservation. the reservation.
