We had the tasting menu - the best value for money. All dishes were very tasty. The appetizer was great. The paella was perfectly seasoned, rich and the portion was large. The Cremamis and Saeda desserts were the perfect ending. We got water and a bottle of wine with the menu. So the price-performance ratio was the best. But don't forget to book in advance!!!!

The paella was okay, but nothing exceptional. A small complimentary aperitif is provided as a welcome drink. The service was friendly but cool. Drink prices were fair, and there was no charge for the coperto at lunch.

I chose the fixed-price menu (€50 per person) because you would definitely spend more if you chose the à la carte menu.
However, the tasting menu is limited in appetizers.
The paella is (definitely for 2 people) good, but not excellent (we had it remade because it was too salty).
We went specifically for the paella, and the result was mediocre.

The restaurant is located in one of the charming alleys in the historic part of Alghero. We dined at the outdoor tables and were welcomed and served by attentive, courteous, and friendly staff. We chose an excellent grilled meat for two with a side of vegetables and, last but not least, we finished with an excellent lactose-free crème brulee. Yes, believe it or not, the desserts are all made with lactose-free milk. This way, they're accessible to everyone. I think it was one of the rare times I've been able to enjoy a dessert in complete freedom. I highly recommend Alamo.

We chose the paella tasting menu (€50), which included four appetizers, a huge portion of paella, a dessert of your choice, a bottle of wine, and water. The appetizers, wine, and dessert were good, but the paella seemed very dry and salty (I'm not an expert, just writing my opinion) as if it were reheated, and the fish inside (which was plentiful) didn't seem very fresh. Try it.
