The food was delicious, and Ton was incredibly friendly and attentive.

We had dinner here on our first evening in Rome. We ordered a carbonara, an amatriciana, two glasses of wine, and a bottle of water: the pasta was truly excellent, even though the portions weren't generous... quite the opposite. The location deserves a 10, especially if you choose the downstairs room, which is very charming and welcoming. The prices are a bit high. We spent €50 in total.

Pancracio Restaurant 1922—what a name! From the very beginning, the experience feels special thanks to its rich history and the unique flavors that set it apart. Dining here is not just about food; it’s about immersing yourself in the story of Pompey’s theater and witnessing the evolution of gastronomy woven into every dish. The portions are a bit smaller than what we’re used to, so if you arrive hungry and enjoy hearty meals, I’d recommend ordering an extra dish or perhaps two starters and two main courses if you’re dining as a couple. A special thanks to Tom, who treated us as if we were VIP guests. His attentiveness and passion for his work made the experience even more memorable. It’s service like his that elevates a great meal into an unforgettable evening.

Wow! So good we ate here twice during our week visit to Rome. Recommended by our golf cart tour guide, it was a close walk from our hotel and that was KEY after a day of touring. Service and food were top notch and sitting out in the courtyard was the perfect Roman evening.

We ordered the carciofo alla giudia Rigatoni con la pajata, carbonara and pizza amatriciana. All dishes were amazing, the flavours were rich and intense! If you are adventurous I highly recommend the con la pajata it is unlike anything I've ever tasted! Our server Amin was just fantastic and we thank him for taking the time to humour us and my teenage son! He even double checked I knew what I was getting myself into with the Con la pajata! Just all round amazing!
