I went to Maratea for the famous stones, at lunch time I'm looking for where to eat cheaply. Google suggests some places to me, I choose Nonna Rosa because it is a stone's throw from where I parked, I must say that the place is not very large but welcoming also thanks to the kindness of the girl who welcomed us, I noticed that it is equipped mainly for take-away but it is also possible to eat on site, I took tortiglioni with pumpkin cream and sausage, excellent, there were many things to choose from, but this one inspired me

Local 2 steps from the tourist center of Matera and its Sassi.
It is a delicatessen that balances takeaway with restaurant service at tables on site.
Good assortment of first courses, second courses and side dishes, typical of the area, ready and available on the counter and heated on the spot with the microwave.
Very friendly staff, excellent value for money.

This place makes you feel like you are at home. The kindness of the owners and the authenticity of the dishes are something spectacular. The dishes are good and tasty.

Cozy place, friendly staff and good food. Not very assorted, we wanted to try the trofie with pumpkin cream and bacon but at 2.00 pm they told us that they had already been finished for a while (it was a Sunday, however). The dishes are prepared in advance and then re-heated and served in plastic plates, but still good. I consider it an excellent solution for those who want to eat well, right in the center and spending little.

Locale semplice, ben gestito e con personale squisitamente gentile e sorridente. Consigliamo la prenotazione, credo siano aperti solo a pranzo. Ogni giorno è presente una buona selezione di primi, secondi e contorni o piatti vegetariani. Comode le bottiglie di rosso da 37,5 cl adatte per due persone. Noi due eravamo piuttosto affamati e ci siamo presi due trofie zucca e guanciale, una parmigiana di melanzane e una porzione si orecchiette con ragù e mozzarella. Davvero consigliato anche per le porzioni di buone dimensioni e per il costo che è ragionevole e adeguato al servizio offerto.
