I must admit that the Spaghettini with Bottarga dish is very well done. It is not easy to incorporate Bottarga given its powerful flavor, but at the Enoteca they add just the right amount to make this a successful dish. The wine selection is very wide and in an acceptable price range. Visited January 28, 2025.

Characteristic place in the center of Udine. We wanted to make a reinforced bee so we opted for a mixed starter "wine shop dish" with burratina, raw ham, salmon, artichokes, giardiniera and anchovies which were delicious like everything else accompanied by black bread and breadsticks and then a frisella with tuna and onion and a generously sized crouton with ham and a sprinkling of horseradish. The wines chosen were greatly appreciated by us. Fair price.

Very good, I like their genuine spontaneity and the way they deal with customers. Very good food...classic but not too much.

L’accoglienza è straordinaria. Il cibo buonissimo è il personale gentilissimo. Veramente un grande posto. Ci vado almeno due volte la settimana e mi sento come a casa. Michel è una persona straordinaria Semplice e molto capace.

Now my trusted wine shop in Udine for drinking well. Today however a bit of rudeness, we were a group of 5 people and not everyone always wants to drink wine... there is no need to make it a burden. Friulano served as a magnum which was a sensational example of reduction, I presume consumption too close to bottling... Interesting Malvasia di Skerk.

In Udine you eat and drink well everywhere but "da Michele" is always better. The place has the perfect old-fashioned winery style but with many modern references. Bottles and books everywhere for a decor that makes you feel like you are in a stylish place. Unparalleled wine choices. Together with the priceless competence of the staff. The staff is extremely kind and friendly. Everyone without excluding anyone. But a special mention goes to the owner who really makes you feel at home. You are able to converse with him for hours on all culinary, gastronomic and of course wine topics. Large, always changing menu. Exceptional dishes and combinations. Everything I tried in multiple dinners satisfied me beyond all expectations. Don't expect to spend little. The place is worth a lot but it's not exactly cheap. Every time I go to Udine I stop by Michele. Simply exceptional.
