Now my trusted wine shop in Udine for drinking well. Today, however, a bit of rudeness, we were a group of 5 people and not everyone always wants to drink wine... there's no need to worry about it. Friulano served as a magnum which was a sensational example of reduction, I presume consumption too close to bottling... Interesting Malvasia di Skerk.

In Udine you eat and drink well everywhere but "da Michele" is always better. The place has the perfect old-fashioned winery style but with many modern references. Bottles and books everywhere for a decor that makes you feel like you are in a stylish place. Unparalleled wine choices. Together with the priceless competence of the staff. The staff is extremely kind and friendly. Everyone without excluding anyone. But a special mention goes to the owner who really makes you feel at home. You are able to converse with him for hours on all culinary, gastronomic and of course wine topics. Large, always changing menu. Exceptional dishes and combinations. Everything I tried in multiple dinners satisfied me beyond all expectations. Don't expect to spend little. The place is worth a lot but it's not exactly cheap. Every time I go to Udine I stop by Michele. Simply exceptional.

The place is very pleasant and the service very friendly and precise. Via Sarpi is in the historic center of Udine. The choice of vivi is vast, in fact it is a wine shop that has added catering to this primary activity, focusing on elaborate or revisited dishes, only granting an extra for the fricco which is him and that's it.

Udine. Historic centre. A lunch based on local delicacies washed down with a good wine chosen together with the staff who have proven themselves: prepared, attentive and correct with customers. I really appreciated the confirmation whether what we requested (6 adults) was not too much, based on the decent portions of each dish. From the series: before looking after my own interests I prefer to ask if they can eat everything, avoiding that uneaten food no longer has to be sent to the bin. The bill? Balanced and corresponding to expectations. Why 4 stars? It was hot in Udine and the place, although in a building with ancient walls, did not seem to have air conditioning.

the food is of excellent quality, I'm really happy I stopped here for lunch! I would have liked to eat other dishes such as various croutons and aperitif platters, but I hope to certainly have other opportunities to return and try everything!
