This restaurant was discovered by chance during a day trip out of town. What a lovely surprise... really lovely. You're greeted by the owner's genuine, clean, and genuine smile, and then pampered with delicious dishes. Selected ingredients, expertly cooked. From fish to meat, everything is delicious. Highly recommended.

We had dinner with exceptional beef cuts, excellent local wine, family management to say the least fantastic, Elisa really nice with that TOSHAN accent that makes her even more splendid, I will be back!!!

Brilliant local family run restaurant serving great mix of classic Italian cuisine (including pizzas) with seafood dishes a speciality. Leave room for dessert as they were delicious. Great range of drinks too - their lime drink was novel and a welcome change from the usual spritz. Nice friendly and helpful service. We enjoyed it so much we came back the following night. Recommended for anyone staying locally.

Accueil sympathique et service toujours souriant même en cas de forte affluence. Bons plats généreux à prix raisonnable. Très satisfaits, nous y sommes allés 4 soirs de suite lors de notre séjour à Sienne.

Le Pietre Vive

02/11/2025: We stayed overnight in the Airbnb on this property, enjoyed dinner on site at their restaurant and joined the cooking class the following day. Without a doubt, this was an absolute highlight of our stay in Tuscany. Every morsel from breakfast to the cooking class to the dinner meal was perfection. If you want an eyes-rolling-to-the-back-of-your-head experience, please stay here, eat here and Enjoy.
