At the restaurant da Mauro you eat magnificently, the km0 products give the palate almost new flavors. I had a mixed grill, which in addition to being abundant was of superior quality! The prices are normal but what amazes is the quality and the punctual and prepared service. We will definitely return, 5 stars well deserved!

Characteristic and relaxing atmosphere, the country music in the background is the icing on the cake. Excellent cuisine from appetizer to dessert. Homemade pasta, impeccable cooking, generous portions and seasoned to perfection (highly recommended the spaghetti alla chitarra with uncinato truffle, the escarole and the grilled potatoes). Professional and friendly service. Also recommended to those who, like me, are vegetarian.

Location in buona posizione per chi come me è di passaggio, locale ben sistemato e curato con un titolare cortese e disponibile, cibo ottimo e un tagliere super gustoso. Sicuramente sarà ricordato da noi se siamo nella zona del lago di barrea. Da ritornare.

I had lunch in this magnificent restaurant for work reasons and what can I say, truly exceptional food! I would return with my eyes closed and if I were to find myself in the area for the holidays I would come with the family! Finding places in Abruzzo where you eat well is quite easy but here we are truly and largely above average, truly excellent!! And for those who say that it is a little expensive compared to others in the area, a little maybe yes but it depends on the dishes but in any case I can assure you that it is worth every cent spent!

Abbiamo mangiato da Mauro la prima volta oggi, non eravamo mai stati a Villetta Barrea, abbiamo trovato per caso questo locale , siamo rimasti soddisfatti a pieno, abbiamo mangiato benissimo , il titolare gentilissimo e cordiale , il prezzo giusto, ritorneremo di sicuro

I was there for lunch today, I have to say that Mr. Mauro makes you feel at ease, in a fantastic clean environment and the food is fabulous. We will gladly return. From appetizer to dessert everything is excellent. Highly recommended.

What can I say about this lovely culinary venue 😍 simply perfection. Excellent food, all decidedly delicious, with an absolute focus on the ricotta for the appetizer. Speedy service and kindness come first. Mr Mauro, if we return to Villetta Barrea the first thing we will do is go back to eat at your place. The first courses were amazing and the meat, the lamb and the kebabs were amazing... the only regret was not having been able to taste the desserts because we didn't know where to put them, we were so full but... there's time 😊 thanks for everything.

Cozy restaurant with excellent cuisine. Very friendly and pleasant dining room staff. The dishes were just the right amount.
There were 5 of us and we spent around €25 each.
Excellent cold cuts starter.
Very tasty first course with wild boar.
The Ravioli well cooked and very tasty.
We will definitely be back!
