Quaint with traditional venice cuisine --- they guide you as what to eat and drink--- fantastico!

Location? We had a table near canal and it does smell, mosquitoes are present even in early May. But, you are in Venezia, water is everywhere! Food? Decent, but just that. Won't say anything bad. Service? Attentive to the point that you are pushed to make a decision fast - fast table turn around brings up the revenue. I understand but it takes away from the experience. Wine? Definitely priced on the high end. Probably wine closer to $100 may have tasted better but no guarantee, I only bought $60 bottle. Who goes there? During our visit it was tourists all around. Not a great sign. How did I found about the place? Hotel concierge recommendation. I will let you to make your own conclusions. Last but not least, they include 12% “tax, service charge” - basically tips are included in the bill. Although staff encouraged to leave a cash tips as well - quite a shady practice. Interesting also that majority of staff are not of an Italian origin.

Recommended, I went for a business dinner so I can't indicate the exact price range. We ate really well, I recommend trying it to anyone who is in the area

A wonderful surprise and discovery! I didn't know this place, an extremely inclusive place not far from San Marco. They have a separate totally vegan menu, and several gluten-free options. The staff is very kind, and above all competent in matters of intolerances. We ate a lasagna with radicchio and mushrooms (really creamy and tasty), goulash and a tasting of vegan cheeses and cured meats. Enjoy the chef's entree and the gluten-free bread basket served hot. The portions are not abundant and the price is not particularly low, but I think it is the right price for the research and direction of inclusiveness undertaken by the owners. Finding a restaurant in the heart of Venice where intolerances are not a limit is truly beautiful. I hope there will also be such inclusive bacari and cicchetterie in the future. Really recommended!

Captivating, on the tourist route but maintaining its style, I went in for the vegan offer, excellent. Friendly and welcoming service

With a full vegan tasting menu alongside seafood and meat, this restaurant had everything our group needed and exceeded expectations - delicious food, amazing wine recommended by the waiter, and a great old school vibe. Highly recommend!!

The ambience and service were good, the food was fantastically good. 3 stars because of the price-performance ratio... The portion sizes are very small, but the prices for everything - including drinks - are very high. If you don't want to spend €100 per person on a normal dinner, you'll go home hungry.

Su consiglio dell'hotel ci siamo recati la sera in questo ristorante, che devo dire e stato veramente ottimo, il cibo super consiglio i pacchetti con rana pescatrice, unica pecca il servizio... non al livello della spesa... in 2 185€ e non ci avevano neanche portato il pane...

Il locale sembra quasi un’osteria, ma il cibo è degno di un ristorante stellato: i cicchetti del doge erano favolosi , come la vellutata di finocchio con triglia seppie e scampi. Il proprietario si è fermato a parlare dei suoi piatti e di tutte le idee ed esperienze che ha fatto . L’unica nota negativa: l’antipasto è arrivato 20 minuti dopo l’ordine (il ristorante era molto pieno)!
