-Very pleasant restaurant -Very attentive waiters -Priced on the expensive side -Reservations are a must! The food was excellent and very flavorful. Combined with the ambiance, it's a highly recommended place to eat.

The staff’s professionalism and warm attitude amazed me from the moment I walked in. Paired with the charming atmosphere, it became the single best dining experience I’ve had in my life.

Delicious meals. Very nice ambiance. Very good service. Delicious (on the house) appetizer and limoncello. A little stingy on the pour of wine. The waitress suggested a tip.

A pleasant surprise in the center of Venice. The attention to detail, the kindness of the staff, and their passion are admirable. The prices are totally in line with those in Venice. A traditional restaurant with a full vegan menu. Not the usual grilled vegetables or pasta with tomato sauce, but dishes designed by the chef to be balanced and tasty! Highly recommended.

Eating in Italy is always an art, but dining at Ristorante da Mario alla Fava is truly like visiting a museum, from the moment we arrived until we said "arrivederci." The two owners are continuously monitoring each table, ensuring every guest was having a wonderful experience. The maître d'hôtel Massimiliano is the real master chief on the ground, offering excellent suggestions with wonderful Italian humor. We thoroughly enjoyed all the dishes; all were prepared with high-quality ingredients and beautifully presented. The tiramisu dessert was a perfect ending, served in a half sphere of dark chocolate—a unique presentation I've never seen or tasted anywhere else. In short, a visit to Venice is incomplete without experiencing your restaurant. Grazie mille Massimilano

Food, service & atmosphere was 10/10. We feel very lucky to have found this traditional family restaurant with a fabulous history going back to 1960.

Good food, but beware of the off-menu items; they're significantly more expensive than the average menu. Baby octopus appetizer €28. Veal tenderloin with potatoes €35... surprise!

Run, don’t walk to da Mario alla Fava. The food was SO GOOD! And the owner is super kind. My partner is vegan and he had a ton of great options, as they have a vegan menu. I had omnivore dishes, which were fabulous. Frito misto was delightful, the pasta was solid, and the Bacala was yummy. I enjoyed this place thoroughly. We debated going back our last day for lunch but we ended up eating pizza at our hotel instead because we were lazy. Strong recommend!

A nice restaurant, recommended by the concierge of our hotel. Went for lunch. Outside sitting. Ordered baby octopus (8/10), seabass milllefeuille (7/10) and black ink cuddlefish (calamari family) with polenta (6.5/10).

I would highly recommend anyone in venice to search this resturant out. Food was excellent, and the staff was very pleasant and accommodating.
