Beautiful, elaborate, and tasty dishes. A welcoming atmosphere with convenient parking. Very fair prices.

The restaurant is located on the ground floor of a house 2 km from San Demetrio Ne' Vestini. It has ample parking and, being on the ground floor, is easily accessible for strollers and those with mobility issues. It's in an almost "strategic" location, given that in my opinion there are many interesting places to visit nearby, including places of worship and hikers. But back to the restaurant. It's a casual place, but with good quality food and an excellent wine selection. Naturally, the cuisine is based on local products, and primarily meat-based. We enjoyed an appetizer, a main course served as a starter, two first courses, three glasses of wine, water, and coffee, all for €62 (see photo). The prices are slightly high; you can certainly spend less in the area, but in my opinion, overall, it's above average in terms of product quality, service, and ambiance. A round of applause goes to the dining room staff, who are very helpful, professional, yet young, and always have a warm smile, which isn't a given (I say this because in the area, people in the retail sector, including restaurants, are sometimes very grumpy and pissed off at the world, as someone from Abruzzo puts it). If I have to find any flaws, though they have little to do with the food, they'd be the restrooms, which aren't up to par with the restaurant's, the outside area is a bit chaotic, like an unfinished construction site, and finally, the front door needs major maintenance, but as I said before, the food is more important.

Free menu, everyone ate what they wanted. No one waited even though the menu was varied. The bathrooms could be a little cleaner. The glasses are very thin; one broke while a child was drinking, and they break, so they need to be replaced. Otherwise, the food and cuisine were excellent.

If you're in a hurry... forget it. They'll serve you the dishes very slowly so you can digest them between each one.

A wonderful experience. The restaurant is just steps from the Stiffe Caves, where tranquility and greenery reign supreme. Excellent food, their specialty being truffles, which feature prominently in many dishes, from appetizers to first courses and main courses. The wild boar stew was excellent. The quality/price ratio of the food we ate was also excellent. Definitely worth trying again.

Truly a unique place. Don't be fooled by the outside, because inside you'll find spectacular cuisine, beautifully plated, beautifully served, with excellent ingredients, and at very fair prices. Not to be missed, it will be our regular stop when we return! We returned today, August 18, 2025. Everything was still good, but the prices were higher (not a little) than those listed in the menus published in the reviews.

My favorite restaurant! The food, service, and atmosphere are impeccable! Real and honest. Nives is an excellent hostess. The traditional cuisine is succulent and plentiful. You're always the best!

I would have given more stars if it weren't for the fact that the prices on their official website don't match the menu served at the table. Compared to what's written on the website, all dishes have increased by 2 to 5 euros (except for appetizers and side dishes). If I had seen the actual prices first, we probably wouldn't have gone. As someone from Abruzzo, it's the first time I've seen fried cheese served without two lettuce leaves or cherry tomatoes; it was hard to swallow. I don't understand why no table is served the wine list with the menu; you have to ask for it.

Ottimo pranzo, la zuppa di ceci e zafferano favolosa, come tutto l'antipasto della casa. Proprietaria gentilissima ci ha anche fatto assaggiare le fave fresche dell'orto. Un antipasto, due primi, mezza porzione di cinghiale in umido (dopo i primi non ce l'avremmo fatta a finire anche il secondo) una bottiglia di rosato, acqua e due caffè tot.61€ Peccato essere solo si passaggio altrimenti saremmo tornati.

Mi dispiace molto iniziare questa recensione dall'unica nota negativa della mia esperienza: la mancanza di cortesia del personale di sala. È veramente spiacevole essere trattati con sufficienza, soprattutto quando non si è clienti di un posto. Per il resto...tutto ottimo. Il cibo è veramente fenomenale. Carta dei vini ottima.
