On a tour between L'Aquila and Calascio, we stopped at Leda e Santino for lunch, offering the opportunity to discover and rediscover the flavors of Abruzzo cuisine. The wild boar was delicious, both in the ragù for the first course and stewed as a main course. The service was also good, and fast even with the restaurant full. Highly recommended, and we'll definitely return to try other dishes.

Found by chance for lunch, a welcoming and well-kept place with food that makes you feel at home, friendly and attentive service, and overall good value. A place to stop and return to, especially to savor the gnocchi with wild boar sauce... delicious and, above all, plentiful... truly plentiful... while gazing out the windows at the Abruzzo landscape... unique.

CONGRATULATIONS. Sincere compliments. We loved everything, from the appetizers, you could taste the quality and freshness in every bite. The two first courses and the second course... The wild boar cacciatore, which honestly, until now, I've always felt was the strong game, but this is the first restaurant where I've tasted delicacy and, above all, incredible tenderness. Everything, everything, delicious! With a nice DNA Rosso, priced at €78.00, so excellent value for money! Thank you, it will definitely be our favorite place when we're near L'Aquila! Guaranteed!

Great restaurant with delicious Italian food, very nice atmosphere and warm and efficient service. We were mislead by the opening times on Google Maps and arrived at 18:30 one hour earlier than the opening time. But we were served warmly with water, olive oil and bread, a glass of wine and then cold antipasto plate, until the formal opening of the kitchen. Altogether wonderful experience !

08/01/2026: Everything was excellent, from the wine to the sublime food. The highest quality products were served with great professionalism. The place is warm and, above all, clean. The cuisine is tasty and varied, featuring local products expertly cooked by the chef and served with elegance. If you're passing through Pacentro, stop by, and if you don't, make time to go.
05/01/2026: Really good impression, the best food that we had in Abruzzo during New Year period. Pasta meals, wine, atmosphere and service at the top level in a beatufilu Pacentro.

Ristorante Materia Prima

18/01/2026: Intimate, minimalist, and elegant design. The maitre d' and the dining room staff create a simple yet warm atmosphere. Refined and original dishes, with Abruzzo roots clearly evident. Special mention goes to the tortello alla ventricina and the lamb, both of which are unbelievably tender.
03/01/2026: I visited the "Materia Prima" restaurant. It's a place with meticulous attention to detail, elegant, refined, and welcoming. I chose this restaurant for their tasting menu, which immediately proved to be an explosion of flavor and quality. The presentation of the dishes, paired with excellent wines, was nothing short of delightful. I thank the chef and his entire staff for their culinary journey, who have brought expression and flavor to their dishes, which embody passion and creativity, as well as the use of top-quality ingredients.
