Da Giovanni Rana In Vicenza

My wife and I stopped by this center and ordered two dishes from the famous pasta maker Giovanni Rana. Perhaps our expectations were a bit too high. The pasta Carbonara was average. I would have liked the bacon diced rather than sliced. The lasagna was solid. The price was reasonable.

I went there last week to eat: excellent quality pasta and a generous dish. Excellent salads and fair prices

Pappardelle with porcini mushrooms was good but the pacchero with seafood was too al dente. Unfortunately dirty serving trays ☹️

I took a dish of roast beef, parmesan and rocket and a first course with mushrooms, all excellent, especially the roast beef dish which I often have, excellent!!! the quality of the meat and the perfect cut I must say amazed me! Unlike many gourmet restaurants!! The staff were also kind and helpful! Satisfied with the price too!

Tried it for the first time on a Saturday for lunch. Attracted by the many people eating. The pappardelle with porcini mushrooms wasn't bad, the first few bites then the pasta became rubbery. The sauces aren't bad, but upon leaving the tray I discovered that many left them half flat uneaten. The choice for a salad is present but large dishes with little inside leave you hungry also because in most photos they seem more appetizing. Overall two menus with water and a dessert around 12 euros per person for a quick lunch. No
