Da Giovanni Rana In Dalmine

After a busy day and a quick visit to Esselunga before heading back to Valtellina, we stopped at this restaurant on the top floor. There were a few people waiting, but the staff was busy trying to keep up with all the requests. I ate well and was served in a reasonable amount of time. I highly recommend this stop!

On our way back from Gorle, we searched for a long time for a place to eat, and knowing the "Le Due Torri" shopping center quite well, I knew about the Giovanni Rana restaurant... Without waiting in line, we ordered three famous menus for €13.50 (each menu includes a first course, a dessert, and a small bottle of water). Needless to say, the quality of the food was beyond exquisite, and in three or four minutes, our tray was on the table. The staff was courteous and very helpful… the only flaw (if I may) was the display of the receipt to make up the total amount of 13.50 euros… in my opinion, it would have been more transparent to display the full price with the discount rather than arriving at a recalculated net price that the customer is unable to understand the weights… since I didn't order water but a small bottle of wine, I was charged a supplement of 6.00 euros… Considering that water has a commercial price of around 1.50 euros, adding the 6.00 euros we arrive at a total price of 7.50 euros which seems a bit excessive to me for a 0.25 l bottle.
