The food is quite good. Rather than KFC or American-style fast food, Rana is definitely better.

A great experience at the Giovanni Rana Restaurant at Valecenter! The dishes are very good, carefully prepared, and offer a wide variety of choices. The portions aren't huge, but the menus are very reasonably priced, allowing you to save money without sacrificing quality. Excellent service: friendly, fast, and always helpful staff. The only downside is the coffee—perhaps we were unlucky, but we found it undrinkable and burnt. We'll definitely be back, perhaps getting our coffee elsewhere!

04/01/2026: Nice, small but clean place... crostini for a very tasty aperitif. I ordered a sparkling white wine at very reasonable prices, 1 liter for 14 euros, and a plate of clams for 18 euros, so very reasonable prices. Service by the very friendly guys from Chioggia. The only negative note is that they didn't have desserts that day.
29/12/2025: Strolling through Chioggia, you'll come across this restaurant with a romantic view of the canal. We had lunch in the heated and very welcoming outdoor tent. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the food, including seafood specialties, was excellent. Good value. If you're passing through Chioggia, it's worth stopping here for lunch.

21/03/2026: Very quiet place in Venice Excellent food. Recommended
20/03/2026: We went there twice and enjoyed it immensely. The location was fantastic, with plenty of sunshine. The Aperol was excellent, and the pizza and bruschetta were also very good. We'll definitely be back when we visit Venice again.
