A good trattoria just a few dozen meters from Viale Regina Giovanna. Excellent traditional Abruzzo cuisine. Simple decor with the typical checked tablecloths, so popular among tourists as a way to identify an Italian restaurant. Fast service and knowledgeable, attentive staff. It has a single, medium-sized dining room, so everything is fine if the other customers are polite. Otherwise... Good prices, in line with other similarly priced establishments. Reservations are recommended.

A dream of a meal! Our lunch at Da Giannino – L’Angolo d’Abruzzo was nothing short of spectacular — a true Italian family-style feast that left us in a blissful stupor. Every dish was bursting with flavour, served with warmth and flair. The wine was perfectly paired and kept flowing, and we ended the afternoon with a magical purple digestivo that we’re still talking about. It felt like being welcomed into someone’s home — if that someone was a culinary genius. Grazie mille for an unforgettable afternoon. We’ll be back!

Great experience. Very friendly staff, unlike most other italiana experiences. only "problem" was that we ate too much appetizers and where full for the proper meals.
Schiaffoni, zafferano e burrata was great. The lamb skewers were also great.

A friendly atmosphere and fair prices await you at this typical Abruzzo restaurant. We had the appetizer of cured meats, fried fish, and burrata—superlative! I wasn't thrilled with the arrosticini, but I recommend it as a place for a nice dinner with friends, accompanied by a glass of red wine.

Il posto all'interno è proprio molto carino e ben curato, il personale è molto gentile (forse qualche cameriere non preparatissimo, ma comunque gentile). Il cibo è proprio ottimo, l'unica cosa non tipica abruzzese sono i prezzi, adeguati al livello di Milano. Però il pane del coperto e i biscotti offerti a fine cena sono proprio buoni

Sono oltre 30 anni che vado da Giannino, e non mangio bene come la prima volta agni volta che vi ritorno, ma meglio! L'imbarazzo della scelta è l'unico vero problema, ma io vi consiglio l'antipasto misto, il tris di primi, la grigliata mista, e la panna cotta!
