Da Gianni In Belmonte calabro

Our culinary experience at da Gianni was exceptional...the fish based dishes kept on coming ,one more delicious and appetizing than the previous one. No way you can choose one more favourite than the other. Cristian, a most precious and knowledgeable host, courteous and well mannered. The food and the jarred products he prepares are a testament to his culinary passion and his love for wholesome "good - for - you" food. Thank you Cristian, Gianni and ristorante staff.

Excellent food, excellent service

It's impossible to pass through the village of Belmonte Paese and not stop at Da Gianni. Quality, professionalism, and a family atmosphere. You can eat (even with children) feeling comfortable with some great (fresh) fish at an excellent quality/price ratio. We'll see you again soon!

Good lunch with friendly service!

Dated but welcoming restaurant. Friendly and courteous staff, and service was a bit slow considering there were very few people. Good food, the only flaw being the excessive oil in the seafood spaghetti.

The staff is very attentive to customer needs and very friendly and helpful. The food is high-quality, with fresh fish cooked to perfection.

If you want to feast on seafood, this is the place to go, starting with the appetizer (which consists of several courses), continuing with the first courses (my husband and I tried both the seafood linguine and the seafood risotto, both delicious), continuing with the second courses (the mixed fried fish is superb—not the usual banal fried fish consisting of squid and a few shrimp, but a fried fish that represents the sea with calamari, shrimp, anchovies, scabbardfish, and weever fish—basically, the catch of the day). Finally, I recommend trying the lemon sorbet, which is a truly creamy lemon gelato. The prices are more than fair for what's available. Definitely worth returning every time you pass through Belmonte Calabro!

A restaurant that never disappoints We've been frequenting this restaurant for years, and it's become a go-to for both impromptu dinners and special occasions. We leave satisfied every time: the quality of the food is consistently excellent, the service impeccable, and the atmosphere clean and welcoming. The restaurant has a truly pleasant atmosphere, with attention to detail but without being pretentious. An added bonus is the opportunity to purchase some of their artisanal products: true gems, like their amazing watermelon jam, which demonstrates the passion and originality behind every choice. We wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic place where you can eat well, feel at home, and also discover something new. A restaurant not to be missed!
