Da Gelsomina In Anacapri

This review is for the restaurant, which is one of the best overall dining experiences I’ve ever had in my life. Truly a restaurant with incredible views, service, food, and value for the package. We followed our waiters recommendation and got the spaghetti with Coniglio Ragu, and my wife and I agreed it was one of the best things we’ve ever eaten Desserts were also a hit here— truly an amazing experience start to finish. Book your dinner and enjoy the view! If you’re as crazy as we are, skip the shuttle and take the Vespa yourself ;)

Average food, good value The view, the walk to get there, and the service were excellent.

I've never stayed here, but I've been to the restaurant a few times. It's a fantastic location when the weather's clear. You can even see the island of Ischia. They pick you up and drop you off in a small car from another hotel in the Anacapri area. At first, I wondered why they had such a small car, but once you get there, you'll understand. We once had a power outage during a sudden shower, but the candles on the table were still magical. The food was average. PS It's been seven years since I last visited. This time, it was just me and my son. This is probably my fifth visit. The staff hasn't changed, and like me, they've all aged. The location and atmosphere remain as wonderful as ever. The food has improved greatly. The prices are reasonable. This is a must-visit when you visit Capri. The shuttle service is also excellent.

Get yourself table and treat yourself with a beautiful sunset view for a dinner, if you are like me or else the place is open otherwise too. A beautiful sunset and everything becomes amazing. Thet provide a pick a d drop to the hotel and to points in city. Recommended for food experience.

Restaurant with a wonderful view. Very good food and friendly, helpful service. We took advantage of the shuttle service after dinner to head home. Highly recommended.

A beautiful pool with a sea view. You have to rent a sun lounger to enjoy it. There's a small bar for food and drinks. Great for families, this is a rare pool open to the public where children are allowed to swim. The restaurant has an incredible view of Ischia, and in the evening, the sunset is magnificent. Quality food, traditional dishes.

Beautiful location on the hills above Anacapri, excellent food and service. A shuttle is available to get there.

Beautiful and delicious restaurant in Anacapri! You can reach it by the restaurant's shuttle, otherwise it's very far away. Really good food, traditional classics, and not cheap prices, but...we're in Capri! The view and location are beautiful. Friendly staff! Recommended

Credo che il pesce ai ristoratori anacapresi sia stato imposto dai turisti. Il cuore vero della cucina dell’isola sta nella terra e nei suoi meravigliosi frutti. Quindi verdure e pollame o coniglio dall’aia. Lasciate stare il pesce e gustatevi le meravigliose polpette di melanzana e le fettuccine al sugo di coniglio di cui serberete il ricordo genuino. Poi la semplicità di un pollo al mattone partendo da una ottima materia prima o un coniglio al sugo come mai ne ho mangiato in vita mia. Alla fine solo qualche eccellente ciliegia bianca locale per digerire. Occhio al finocchietto, a fine pasto ha il suo ruolo!

Sobre la base de al menos una docena de visitas a la cena en la última década, la Gelsomina es uno de nuestros restaurantes favoritos en Italia y el mundo - - por varias razones. Capo Pasquale y su equipo de Raffaele, Massimo, Mariano y otros son anfitriones acogedores, cálidos, atentos y amables. Con una reserva, es posible conseguir una mesa con vistas a atardeceres absolutamente de clase mundial, como tuvimos la suerte de hacer dos veces este mayo. Para los amantes de los mariscos y verduras como nosotros, el menú está lleno de excelentes opciones que llegan a la mesa con aspecto de obras de arte y sabor aún mejor. El vino de la casa (que en realidad se hace en la extensa propiedad Gelsomina) es sabroso y a un precio razonable. Para nosotros, uno de los muchos aspectos destacados es la media hora a pie (en un entorno exuberante y verde con excelentes vistas) que se necesita para llegar al restaurante desde el centro de Anacapri, donde nos alojamos (el autobús lanzadera del hotel lleva a los comensales de vuelta a la ciudad). ¡Si viviéramos mucho más cerca de Anacapri y pudiéramos visitar la Gelsomina regularmente!
