Very nice BB in Anacapri, only one room category. Tip: There are regular hotel shuttles from the "main square" in Anacapri to the square and back to the hotel. The taxi from the harbor to the square costs around €35, and the ride is a pure adventure. 😄 The restaurant da Gelsomina is priced at the somewhat higher end of Capri's norm, with a few exceptions (€50 for 5 prawns with pasta - see photo). The food was pretty good.

We came here during a day trip to Capri - it was a bit of a mission for us to get there and back from the dock but they do put on a shuttle to the middle of Anacapri and they can’t control the awful traffic! Food was pleasant especially the pomodores and buffalo mozzarella and service was friendly. Add on a little stroll to the viewing point just down from the restaurant

This review is for the restaurant, which is one of the best overall dining experiences I’ve ever had in my life.
Truly a restaurant with incredible views, service, food, and value for the package. We followed our waiters recommendation and got the spaghetti with Coniglio Ragu, and my wife and I agreed it was one of the best things we’ve ever eaten
Desserts were also a hit here— truly an amazing experience start to finish. Book your dinner and enjoy the view! If you’re as crazy as we are, skip the shuttle and take the Vespa yourself ;)

Credo che il pesce ai ristoratori anacapresi sia stato imposto dai turisti. Il cuore vero della cucina dell’isola sta nella terra e nei suoi meravigliosi frutti. Quindi verdure e pollame o coniglio dall’aia.
Lasciate stare il pesce e gustatevi le meravigliose polpette di melanzana e le fettuccine al sugo di coniglio di cui serberete il ricordo genuino. Poi la semplicità di un pollo al mattone partendo da una ottima materia prima o un coniglio al sugo come mai ne ho mangiato in vita mia. Alla fine solo qualche eccellente ciliegia bianca locale per digerire. Occhio al finocchietto, a fine pasto ha il suo ruolo!

Sobre la base de al menos una docena de visitas a la cena en la última década, la Gelsomina es uno de nuestros restaurantes favoritos en Italia y el mundo - - por varias razones. Capo Pasquale y su equipo de Raffaele, Massimo, Mariano y otros son anfitriones acogedores, cálidos, atentos y amables. Con una reserva, es posible conseguir una mesa con vistas a atardeceres absolutamente de clase mundial, como tuvimos la suerte de hacer dos veces este mayo. Para los amantes de los mariscos y verduras como nosotros, el menú está lleno de excelentes opciones que llegan a la mesa con aspecto de obras de arte y sabor aún mejor. El vino de la casa (que en realidad se hace en la extensa propiedad Gelsomina) es sabroso y a un precio razonable. Para nosotros, uno de los muchos aspectos destacados es la media hora a pie (en un entorno exuberante y verde con excelentes vistas) que se necesita para llegar al restaurante desde el centro de Anacapri, donde nos alojamos (el autobús lanzadera del hotel lleva a los comensales de vuelta a la ciudad). ¡Si viviéramos mucho más cerca de Anacapri y pudiéramos visitar la Gelsomina regularmente!
