Credo che il pesce ai ristoratori anacapresi sia stato imposto dai turisti. Il cuore vero della cucina dell’isola sta nella terra e nei suoi meravigliosi frutti. Quindi verdure e pollame o coniglio dall’aia.
Lasciate stare il pesce e gustatevi le meravigliose polpette di melanzana e le fettuccine al sugo di coniglio di cui serberete il ricordo genuino. Poi la semplicità di un pollo al mattone partendo da una ottima materia prima o un coniglio al sugo come mai ne ho mangiato in vita mia. Alla fine solo qualche eccellente ciliegia bianca locale per digerire. Occhio al finocchietto, a fine pasto ha il suo ruolo!

Sobre la base de al menos una docena de visitas a la cena en la última década, la Gelsomina es uno de nuestros restaurantes favoritos en Italia y el mundo - - por varias razones. Capo Pasquale y su equipo de Raffaele, Massimo, Mariano y otros son anfitriones acogedores, cálidos, atentos y amables. Con una reserva, es posible conseguir una mesa con vistas a atardeceres absolutamente de clase mundial, como tuvimos la suerte de hacer dos veces este mayo. Para los amantes de los mariscos y verduras como nosotros, el menú está lleno de excelentes opciones que llegan a la mesa con aspecto de obras de arte y sabor aún mejor. El vino de la casa (que en realidad se hace en la extensa propiedad Gelsomina) es sabroso y a un precio razonable. Para nosotros, uno de los muchos aspectos destacados es la media hora a pie (en un entorno exuberante y verde con excelentes vistas) que se necesita para llegar al restaurante desde el centro de Anacapri, donde nos alojamos (el autobús lanzadera del hotel lleva a los comensales de vuelta a la ciudad). ¡Si viviéramos mucho más cerca de Anacapri y pudiéramos visitar la Gelsomina regularmente!

It's hard for me to give 5 stars to any place. But this place is special and so are the people who run it. For a genuine Capri experience, I recommend you come to this restaurant. And come hungry! The dishes are delicious! It's worth it!

Very good restaurant, with tasty and local cuisine with an original touch.
Impeccable service, wonderful and well-kept location.
We highly recommend it, it is a beautiful pearl of Anacapri. Nothing to do with the tourist places in these areas.

Restaurant in the wildest part of Anacapri. Family run, as soon as we arrived the owner advised us to take a walk to the end of the street that leads to the restaurant to enjoy the view, phenomenal to say the least... in any case home cooking, all of excellent quality and cooked to perfection... Caprese ravioli and tagliatelle with dreamy rabbit ragù... excellent choice of wines... quite high prices like on the whole island, in any case if you are in Anacapri it is absolutely worth a visit!!

We weren't sleeping at the BnB, only there for lunch and that was amazing. Very good food and wine, the service was really friendly, not invadent though. The view from the tables and from the lookout point just a few meters away was absolutely breathtaking. Congratulations to these guys, keep going like that!

We had lunch and everything was perfect: the food, the view and the service. Very typical, was recommended to us as “best food in capri” from locals, cannot agree more! Definitely recommend (and they come and pick you up from Anacapri center, very convenient). Grazie mille !! Merci beaucoup !!!
