Phenomenal view, close to the best private Belvedere to postcard Capri, free shuttle service back to the Anacapri piazza, great food and service. Very grateful to have found this gem 🩵

We had a dinner with sunset view. Food is great, we found this place thanks to our airbnb host. Definitely worth to visit. Price is fair compared to other Capri restaurants.

We stopped at the restaurant for lunch as we were taking a day trip to Capri. We were picked up in Anacapri. The food was fantastic. The service and ambiance were also very good. We were even able to use the pool and have a drink at the pool bar. The whole thing made our trip a great experience. Thank you so much!

This is the restaurant I was most looking forward to during my stay on the island of Capri. Every meal was delicious, and the grilled octopus was excellent. The staff were all friendly and provided attentive service, and the best thing was the beautiful sunset that could be viewed from the restaurant. There is also another great view point, which you can see as soon as you pass through the restaurant and head towards the mountain. Although the location is a little far away, they provided a shuttle from the Anacapri bus center and we arrived promptly. Thank you for your help.

The setting is truly special — our table overlooked beautiful vineyards with sweeping views that instantly made us feel connected to the natural beauty of Capri. The staff and Pasquale were incredibly warm and welcoming, and even shared a tip about a nearby secret lookout point. We followed their advice and were rewarded with what was easily the best view on the entire island. If you're looking to escape the tourist-packed areas and enjoy a genuine, tranquil Capri dining experience, Da Gelsomina is a must. We can’t wait to return!

We only came here for dinner The food was delicious, the service was very good and attentive. Complimented with the incredible views the experience was overall really nice. The food was nothing extraordinary but at the same time hit the spot. Plenty of choices, and reasonably priced. The scenery and sunsets incredible. The most exciting part of the experience is the shuttle ride up the hill - it’s like the local version of an amusement park rollercoaster ride.

Went to the restaurant for dinner. The rabbit was one of the best things I've ever eaten. The rest of the food was also excellent, as was the house wine, which comes from their own small vineyard on site.

Da Gelsomina is much more than a restaurant: it's an experience for the senses. The setting is beautiful, with views that transmit peace, surrounded by nature. The service was friendly and relaxed, and the food... wonderful. I tried the caprese ravioli and they were absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of local flavor. A great plus: they offer free transportation from the center of Anacapri, which makes the visit much easier. It's the perfect way to disconnect from the hustle and bustle and savor Capri in its most authentic form. I recommend going with plenty of time to enjoy the place at your leisure.

Credo che il pesce ai ristoratori anacapresi sia stato imposto dai turisti. Il cuore vero della cucina dell’isola sta nella terra e nei suoi meravigliosi frutti. Quindi verdure e pollame o coniglio dall’aia. Lasciate stare il pesce e gustatevi le meravigliose polpette di melanzana e le fettuccine al sugo di coniglio di cui serberete il ricordo genuino. Poi la semplicità di un pollo al mattone partendo da una ottima materia prima o un coniglio al sugo come mai ne ho mangiato in vita mia. Alla fine solo qualche eccellente ciliegia bianca locale per digerire. Occhio al finocchietto, a fine pasto ha il suo ruolo!

Sobre la base de al menos una docena de visitas a la cena en la última década, la Gelsomina es uno de nuestros restaurantes favoritos en Italia y el mundo - - por varias razones. Capo Pasquale y su equipo de Raffaele, Massimo, Mariano y otros son anfitriones acogedores, cálidos, atentos y amables. Con una reserva, es posible conseguir una mesa con vistas a atardeceres absolutamente de clase mundial, como tuvimos la suerte de hacer dos veces este mayo. Para los amantes de los mariscos y verduras como nosotros, el menú está lleno de excelentes opciones que llegan a la mesa con aspecto de obras de arte y sabor aún mejor. El vino de la casa (que en realidad se hace en la extensa propiedad Gelsomina) es sabroso y a un precio razonable. Para nosotros, uno de los muchos aspectos destacados es la media hora a pie (en un entorno exuberante y verde con excelentes vistas) que se necesita para llegar al restaurante desde el centro de Anacapri, donde nos alojamos (el autobús lanzadera del hotel lleva a los comensales de vuelta a la ciudad). ¡Si viviéramos mucho más cerca de Anacapri y pudiéramos visitar la Gelsomina regularmente!
