Recommended place if you go to Sorrento, the pizza is 10/10, the calzone is 10/10, the antipasto is 10/10 and the tiramisu is unmissable. Highly recommended. I have been there twice and would go back.

I know this one, how would I define it? Inn, tavern, delicatessen? For about thirty years, today I came here for the last time.
I'll explain why:
Due to the highway code, I preferred not to ask for wine (and considering the final bill, that was a blessing) but only sparkling water. And here on the table arrives the fateful bottle (without a cap) with treated tap water, obviously without any guarantee of hygiene. This is a common practice in low-profile establishments, such as pizzerias and trattorias. Here I forgot to ask for a sealed bottle of mineral water, as is my habit. I invite you to consider what these careful managers do to save a couple of cents, but if you ask, I'm sure they'll tell you they're eco-friendly because they're zero-mile.
Let's move on to the food. I'll start by saying that, as always, it was good quality: a focaccia for two, a tray of prosciutto crudo sliced (badly, but it was the first time in 30 years), and a mozzarella (they call it that, but it's fiordilatte, which is fine with me, as I'm Neapolitan. In the Monti Lattari area, they tend to confuse the name with buffalo mozzarella, the one and only true mozzarella, obviously from the Aversa area and its surroundings). This "mozzarella" for two people must have been a quarter-sized morsel, certainly not more, probably less.
Basically, we ate something similar to a pizza with mozzarella and prosciutto, but much cheaper, not to mention a glass of good water, for just €18.50. It probably had something to do with a visit from that guy, who, among other things, was in the F1 business and recently took the liberty of opening a pizzeria in his homeland, Naples, which obviously failed miserably in a short time.
In conclusion, I'm sorry, but I won't be returning to Franco's. Let's be honest and give value to my money. I photographed what they gave me. Last time, I paid relatively dearly, but less than today. It's a shame I stopped before going to the beach, attracted by the fact that it was strangely (but perhaps not so much, all things considered) empty.

Abbiamo mangiato spaghetti neri con crema di zucchine, paccheri con pesce spada ,antipasto con polipetti e pomodorini e olive, tutto curato e molto buono, ritorneremo

Sono stato stassera perché vicino all'albergo, ho preso un antipasto misto freddo di pesce, dal costo di 20 euro.
Direi sufficiente come qualità, ma costoso considerando i tipi di prodotti e la quantità di essi.
Avevo già mangiato in centro storico lo stesso tipo di antipasto, allo stesso prezzo, ma con più varietà, più quantità e anche maggior qualità e freschezza, soprattutto della verdura di contorno che lo accompagnava.
Inoltre, in c'entro i tovaglioli erano di stoffa e non di carta, il pane era di più tipi, fresco e anche a impasto da grissino, non riscaldato come qui.
Mi hanno portato l'olio, ma senza il sale e il pepe e se lo sono venuti a prendere senza nemmeno chiedermi se serviva ancora.......
In pratica si mangia meglio in centro storico, che non in periferia e il prezzo dovrebbe essere inferiore, max 15 euro.
