This is a restaurant and pizzeria that offers excellent Apulian specialties at reasonable prices. The authentic cuisine and atmosphere, along with the friendly service, contribute to a pleasant experience.

During my time in Italy, my family and I traveled to several cities to include Rome, Florence, Venice, and Milan. Out of every restaurant we went to, this was the best one by a mile not only because of the food but because of the service and how friendly the staff were to us. We got pictures with the waiter and head chef and will be recommending this place to everyone who travels to Milan. We will come back!

We arrived at 2 PM without a reservation, and although it was full and they initially told us no, the owner came out to the street to confirm that if we waited 15 minutes, it was no problem. The experience was wonderful. The food was excellent, the service from Giuseppe the waiter was impeccable, the food was classic homemade Italian, and the desserts were delicious. They even kindly explained how to get to the metro. 100% recommended!

A fantastic little trattoria not far from Garibaldi station. The welcome is friendly and cheerful. Giuseppe, the waiter, is friendly and pleasantly humorous, funny. Five of us had dinner, the chef prepared great dishes. I had spaghetti vongole, as you can see in the pictures. 😂😂We had a great time. Not a tourist restaurant. I recommend it to everyone who loves real Italian cuisine.😊😊😊

A guarantee of excellent Apulian food

I just found this restaurant which is closed to my hotel. I think I experienced racial discrimination. Even though the restaurant had plenty of empty seats inside, they deliberately gave me a seat right by the door. This was my first trip to Italy, so I didn’t even know if this kind of thing counts as racism. The server was an elderly Italian man, and he couldn’t speak a single word of English. And this wasn’t some rural area—this was the center of Milan, a major tourist spot. But what made it even more annoying was that… the food was really delicious. LOL. The next day, I went to a different restaurant, and the staff there spoke great English and were extremely friendly. So if u r Asian and still want to eat there despite everything, make sure to order in Italian. 😂😂😂

Simplicity is often associated with truth, sincerity is always associated with well-being: Trattoria da Franco is a concrete example of what essentiality means. Excellent ingredients and traditional Apulian dishes for a unique, emotional experience in the heart of Milan. (We recommend the fava bean and chicory purée with burrata and orecchiette with turnip tops.) Friendly, friendly, and efficient service. Not to be missed (reservations recommended).
