The missing fifth star is certainly not for the quality of the food, absolutely exquisite, both in quality and in the mastery of how it was cooked. In this respect, five stars above. We went for lunch yesterday, very satisfied also for the honest price paid in relation to what we were served. The ladies were very kind. Strengthened by this pleasant experience, being still there in the area, today we wanted to repeat. The place was definitely fuller than yesterday, but many customers outside the place had already arrived at the cafe and would soon get up, and in any case many tables inside were still free. We asked three times if we could stay for lunch and we were practically ignored, the only answer extorted with difficulty, in a very hasty manner running without even looking at us, was that it is not possible at the moment, try to sit down there at the back, let's see...(?). It would have been enough to say no, yes, you have to wait, come back in half an hour or whatever. I have respect for those who work. I understand that there are only two ladies who have to take care of everything, cook, serve tables etc. and therefore being under pressure a bit of anxiety and nervousness is normal. However, feeling completely abandoned and not knowing if and when we could eat we left, I saw that other couples followed us... ..maybe another help in the dining room would give relief to everyone. Too bad. If you happen to be there and there is room, stop though, the food is very good.

A very welcoming and friendly environment. Typical Tuscan cuisine. How they know how to cook meat here is only found in other places and in another area. We only ate starter and mixed roast meat... delicious. With a good not too full-bodied red wine.

It's a guarantee!!! Today I tasted the reinforced soup!

Cucina tipica di grande qualità, porzioni abbondanti a prezzi contenuti. Ambiente molto gradevole ed una magnifica Piazza Tanucci a fare da sfondo. Ci torniamo ogni anno, durante le nostre vacanze stiane, assolutamente da non perdere

Honestly, I remembered better. My potato tortelli weren't drained well and were consequently quite watery. The worst thing, however, was the rude response to my question as to why, despite the request for a seat away from the door made when booking, people who arrived later than us got better treatment. I also want to point out the complete absence of a menu, which does not allow you to have any control over it when checking out. The environment is very limited.
