Rustic atmosphere, affordable prices, basic menu. Just don't ask for truffles, because they'll be served poorly and infrequently. That is, don't expect the waiter to grate the tuber over your tagliatelle... it's all a jumble of pickles. Go for cured meats, cheeses, and grilled meats.

This restaurant was a wonderful surprise for its fast and attentive service, the quality of its products, and its value for money. I'd say it's one of the last truly Italian restaurants... I recommend tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and truffles, and a Florentine steak... paired with the house wine, of course!
