Antica Trattoria e Pizzeria da Donato was the place that left best memories and culinary experience though all the stay. As we didn't book a table we had to wait for available one but the staff were very reassuring and welcoming. As soon as the table was ready, we were asked if we liked the table. The staff went beyond a mile to make us feeling welcome and special. During the whole evening they were professional, friendly, helpful. The menu consists lots of dishes, starring from standard starters through more sublime ones, pizza, pasta dishes etc. Lots of dishes are sea-food based. Vegetarian options also available. The good wine selection and the staff is happy to recommend or pair some for you. Despite the restaurant was full, our meal was served promptly and prepared as we asked. The portions were very generous and the food was absolutely scrumptious! Best pasta with neapolitan ragù I have ever had, the pizza was great too! It's in top 3 of all pizzas during the stay. Great meal! The tiramisu was OK, not exactly what I expected but the coffee was great. The atmosphere of the place seems cosy and authentic, nice simple decor with Italian colours. Despite the place was buzzing, it didn't feel to crowded or too loud to talk.

I had a truly wonderful meal. The food was excellent, everything was fresh and well-prepared. The staff was friendly and, above all, knew how to explain what you were ordering. I found the place clean, as were the tables and dishes. What surprised me most was that they undercharged me, not overcharged me like many other competitors do. They took 59 cents off my bill instead of adding 41. Great! The only problem, I'd say, was parking, but obviously we're downtown and it's not their fault. Prices are rising, but overall, they're average for other restaurants in the same category. Deserved 5 stars.

We were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant, and it's the one we left with the best impression and memory of Naples. It has a very good menu with very affordable prices and quality, carefully prepared products. We ordered the parmiggiana selection and it was delicious. We also enjoyed Alici's fried anchovies and loved their spaghetti with seafood. They have many portions to share at a good price and a very nice and cozy restaurant. Proof of this is the care and effort the owners put into ensuring everyone is served and has a good experience. We were very grateful to try fresh seafood. By the way, Apperol is 6 euros!

The atmosphere was welcoming and well-crafted. Unfortunately, we didn't appreciate the small and tasteless portions; we'd have preferred a higher price but with more generous portions and flavors.

We had a very good meal and excellent service, highly recommended. Arrived at 7pm without a reservation, no problem, just free the table for 9pm for the second course.

Excellent!!! Wonderful place run by its owners, delicious food, pizza, pasta, wine, and recommendations. Worth a visit if you're in Naples.

We were so lucky this trattoria was just a minute away from our B&B. We were welcomed like we were family, and the kids got to see the wood-fired oven and the whole staff went above and beyond to keep them happy. We ordered pizza for the kids, which was very well made. Also, I had a portion of their glorious genovese, and my wife had one of their signature dishes, seafood in a “hat” made of pizza dough. Everything was excellent. Very fair price given the quality and the overall experience. Looking forward to another visit!

Soggiornato nei pressi della stazione ed essendo da sola volevo stare vicino all’hotel… Mi sono fidata delle recensioni e ho fatto benissimo: davvero un’ottima pizza con la mozzarella di bufala! Ambiente piuttosto piccolo per cui obbligatorio prenotare anche in settimana. Sicuramente ci tornerò per provare anche altri piatti.

Locale ben curato vicino alla stazione. Ci abbiamo cenato due volte: nella prima abbiamo assaggiato la cucina (spaghetti con vongole, genovese, scarola e friarielli) la seconda volta pizza. Entrambe le volte ci siamo trovati bene sia per quanto riguarda il cibo che per il servizio che per il conto. Meglio prenotare.
