Excellent food, I savored the ravioli of my childhood, and I discovered a rare dish, "pizz e fuje," which was fantastic. The cod was expertly cooked; I had the one with roasted peppers, delicious, and even boneless! Excellent value for money. I recommend you try it, but the owner, with his success... shouldn't compromise on quality! 👍

They reopened after Concezio's passing. His wife is still in the kitchen. A new menu has been created, offering two fixed-course options of meat and cod, in addition to the same à la carte dishes. The atmosphere has remained the same as before. The cod menu was chosen. The appetizers didn't taste like cod, while the sagne and chickpeas in white sauce and linguine with tomato sauce were just okay. The cod and peppers, with roasted peppers and sweet peppers from Altino, were excellent. I'll be back for the goat.

A family atmosphere, a cabin surrounded by greenery, and a large fireplace always lit to provide warmth and comfort (...necessary for cooking), make this trattoria unique. Traditional home-cooked cuisine. Matteo, following in the footsteps of his grandfather Concezio, is a young, well-mannered, attentive man who truly knows how to tempt his guests. Typical Abruzzo food, homemade pasta, grilled meats. Everything is very good, although the real specialty is the cod-based cuisine (linguine with cod sauce, cod & potatoes, roasted cod). Excellent!

If I could give it 6 stars, I would... but it still wouldn't be enough. The menu reads on the cover: KEEP THE BEST, REINVENT THE REST. And I think that's the gist of it. I dined here purely by chance, while testing the waters for a typical local trattoria (staying in Roccamorice). From the outside, it doesn't look like anything special, but I think that's its advantage: once you sit down, you're overwhelmed by a very familiar yet innovative spirit (as the excellent menu states). You can choose one of the two set menus, cod or traditional, or order à la carte. I chose the set cod menu, as it's a specialty of this trattoria, which has been around for almost 50 years. Young Matteo, grandson of the founder, has courageously reopened the restaurant, blending tradition (his grandmother reigns supreme in the kitchen) with modernity. Very generous portions: the set cod menu includes seven appetizers, two first courses, and a second course. At an incredibly competitive price. But the real surprise is the drinks, which can be refilled at no additional cost. 10 for courage, commitment, and heart. Highly recommended!
