Da Clà - I sapori di casa nostra In Bari

We discovered DaClá by chance half a year ago and had to come back because it was such good, honest, local food. Again yesterday we had an amazing dinner with incredibly friendly hosts, the food was great, the atmosphere lively and the whole restaurant filled will locals - we can definitely understand why! We highly recommend visiting, but make sure you get a reservation as it is very booked on weekends.

Typical italian restaurant with great food at reasonable prices.

We came to DaCla via a recommendation from a local and we were blown away. From the start, the restaurant was filled with locals and every staff member is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Vincenzo was amazing! Vincenzo recommended the seasonal pizzas on the menu and my wife and I both agreed they were the best pizzas we ever had (which is a phrase we do not say lightly!). The tomato sauce on mine was full of flavour and the ingredients were as fresh as they get. We were then treated to a Tiramisu for dessert which was the perfect amount of light and creamy. Finally we finished it off with some Limoncello and another drink that came with it but I forget the name. It had a black liquorice flavour and was outstanding. I will come to Bari again for this restaurant alone.

One of the most memorable pizzas I have had; lots of really interesting toppings that really deliver on flavour and the base was perfect. My husband had one of their meatball dishes, which seem like another house speciality, and said they were delicious. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful.

A place off the beaten track, away from the crowded center. Delicious Italian cuisine, prices lower than in the center of Bari. I recommend!

A very good surprise in the Murat district. You just have to get away from the tourist center a little. Entered by chance, there were only Italian locals. It was actually quite a good omen. The welcome was very warm and the waiter took the time to advise me. There are special dishes and menus for summer, especially pizza dough. The pizzas were delicious in every way, from the toppings to the dough. Note an original 4 pomodori (tomato) pizza. There are also many vegetarian pizzas. It's good, it's fresh, it's Italy on the plate just the way I like it.
