There's nothing to rate other than the unfriendly service. Unfortunately, the unfriendly staff in Bologna.

Date night was spoiled by an arrogant manager. Great food and well chosen wine with the help of our young server who was excellent. We had 3 courses, enjoyed them all, apart from a poorly chosen fried custard desert, 2 bottles of wine, and we were very content. Asked for the bill, and were told there were technical issues, so then sat for 15 minutes as we watched locals go up and pay their bill…including several tables that had literally just finished their meal. Finally got the bill, went up to pay it, and expressed that I wasn’t impressed at being treated as a 2nd class citizen just because we were tourists…all I got was a shrug from the manager…very disappointing.

Tuvimos un buen almuerzo sentados fuera, así que decidimos volver para la cena. En general, la comida era muy buena. La carta de vinos es extensa y los vinos tienen un precio razonable. Los camareros para la cena eran particularmente serviciales, más que cuando nos sentamos fuera. Sus risottos son buenos, solo desearía que hubiera más opciones para el gluten - comer gratis. No hay información directa en el menú y sospecho que tuve alguna contaminación cruzada de mi comida...

In the beautiful Piazza Santo Stefano there is this historic Bolognese restaurant where I had never been and I wanted to fill my gap. Born as a restaurant that offers traditional Bolognese cuisine, for a change with my wife, since it was also a Friday, we wanted to try their fish proposals. The fried food was excellent, but the fish risotto disappointed me a bit. Impeccable service and very friendly staff. We will return to try the dishes that have made this location famous. Prices above average.

We were a bit disappointed at the food here having read good reviews and recommendations. The menu looked very attractive and we chose Gramigna Salsiccia (sausage) to start as it’s a bolognese speciality. This was very nice. For mains we again went for regional specialities - ossobuco and Cotoletta a la bolognese - veal cutlet. The ossobuco was huge, tender but a bit fatty. It needed more seasoning. The veal was a bit bland, again lacking seasoning. For dessert we shared a tiramisu, which was underwhelming. Insipid sponge which didn’t taste of much and quite a sweet custard. We washed it down with a bottle of Valpolicella Ripasso, which was good value for 26 euros. The service was efficient if not over friendly. Oh and Barry Manilow and Stevie Wonder as a musical background is not very Italian!

The authentic Bolognese food is outstanding! This was our first and last meal in Bologna. 5 Star in every way.

Excellent food at very reasonable prices and excellent service. A culinary gem in the heart of a beautiful city. A must foe any visit to Blogna.

Slightly high prices €40 per person. In the end they could also offer coffee and not charge €2.50.

In centro, proprio di fronte alla bellissima chiesa di S. Stefano, ambiente molto accogliente, servizio molto cortese e preparato, abbiamo preso dell'ottimo bollito e come antipasti dei buonissimi carciofi alla romana. Consigliatissimo
