Nice hotel. A big plus is that the room was very warm, the heating works great, hot water too. It was quite noisy outside, although the end of October is not high season.

I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Da Cesare in Stresa. The location is super central, right behind the town hall, across the street from the public ferry, and only a few minutes from Carrefour supermarket. Hard-working Paolo & Barbara are helpful and kind hosts. The room with ensuite bathroom was basic but clean, and everything worked, including the TV and WiFi. I stayed over a Friday night and I was bracing myself for a din from partiers, but it was quiet after 23:00h. Breakfast is included in the room price, and it's served from 8:00-10:00h. It's brought to your table in the restaurant by friendly and gard-working Paolo, and it consists of generous portions of baba cakes, coffee, juice, and upon request, savory options such as ham and cheese. I was also allowed to leave the luggage for a few hours after checking out. Very pleased with the lovely Italian hospitality at Hotel Da Cesare. Grazie, tornero!

At Cesare you eat very well, the staff are welcoming and kind. Excellent value for money. Recommended dishes, osso bucco with Milanese risotto and stewed cod with polenta

Ristorante in pieno centro di fascia media. Personale gentile e piatti piuttosto buoni anche con pesce di lago ma porzioni un po' scarsine,comunque prezzi in linea con gli altri locali. Attesa lunga nonostante il locale praticamente vuoto e pasta lasciata troppo al dente. Consigliato se non si hanno grandi pretese

Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and tidy room, not very spacious but for the price paid more than sufficient. Excellent restaurant service. Strategic location.. We will be back.

Excellent location, right in the center. Lakeside promenade reachable in a few minutes. Free parking (or 1 hour parking disc) nearby. Perhaps it would be appropriate to point out that you cannot get to the hotel by car to unload your luggage. Abundant breakfast even if not buffet (in addition to finding jams and biscuits - packaged - on the table, the staff immediately brings a plate with slices of cake and brioches - fresh - and asks if you want a plate with cheese, ham, etc.. in addition to drinks - milk, juices, coffee, yogurt). Very friendly and courteous staff, clean room and common areas. The restaurant service is also good. If I come back, I'll come back
