My dad and I had dinner at Piola Da Celso this evening and everything was prepared and cooked to perfection and with love. We didn’t have any issues not being able to speak Italian as the youngest member of staff spoke English. She was very helpful and made good recommendations. It was nice to be able to have a little bit of all the starters as one dish. We then had a pasta course and a dessert. This family run restaurant specialise in traditional food from Piedmont, and I would recommend anyone to come here if they have the chance. The price was also very reasonable.

Historic trattoria. Excellent Piedmontese food prepared fresh daily. Friendly and courteous staff. The only downside is the noise; you can't talk or hear anyone. But it's worth a try!

What can I say about this little place. Very characteristic, welcoming, the staff is professional in their own way. Excellent food and excellent prices. The only flaw (not flaw)? I come from Treviso so it's a bit impossible for me to go there often. If I return to Turin I'll pop in.
Highly recommended.

A true family restaurant, where we had a fantastic experience from a gastronomic and human point of view.
The food is good and it is possible to have a tasting of Piedmontese specialties at an affordable price (even if it is not indicated on the menu, this is the only flaw I found), but what surprised us positively is the friendliness and hospitality of the staff.
During the payment we exchanged a few words with the boy at the cashier, his mother and his aunt and it was significant because we are considering moving to Turin in the future and it was useful to be able to talk to some locals. As if that were not enough, they also offered us a discount.

Our last evening in Torino and it was the best. We didn’t have language issue as the youngest member of this team (it is a family run restaurant) helped us explain all those food options available tonight, in detail, including recommendations based on our dietary needs (one of us is vegetarian). Seating indoor and outdoor (in private backyard and not on the street) are very agreeable. Taste, reflective of quality and freshness was par excellence.
Only one surprise (a pleasant one) was that besides all the good things about Piola Da Celso, the expense was way far below our expectations.

Autentica piola torinese, calda e verace. Le splendide donne che gestiscono il locale sono deliziose e ci hanno accolto con grande calore. Abbiamo mangiato cose molto buone, su tutte la guancetta di maiale che si tagliava con la forchetta tanto era tenera. Porzioni strabordanti (soprattutto i talgiolini) e prezzi molto bassi per essere a Torino (abbiamo speso 78 euro in 4). Unica pecca, non c'è una vera e propria offerta di vini e ci si deve accontentare di quello della casa che è di scarsa qualità. Consiglio di mettere anche una decina di bottiglie, in modo da dare scelta a chi vuole bere bene

Ero stato da Celso alcuni anni fà , sempre con amici e sempre a cena. Il locale è sempre lo stesso manca l' apporto di Celso che ti faceva ,con le sue argomentazioni e sottolineature , trovare un sorriso mentre mangiavi. Il menu è pressoché lo stesso di sempre, trovo che i prezzi siano lievitati e non siano più in linea con quanto servito ai commensali. Penso sia ora di portare un menu a tavola con i prezzi affinché la gente sappia quanto spende .
