For the second time I found myself enjoying "Carlo's" delicacies. Expectations met once again. From the high quality ingredients, from the original flavors to the location, from Mr Carlo who welcomes everyone with a smile to all the staff who are always available, my experience was once again SUPER.

Good products in this store. Served kindly by a very young waiter who spoke fairly good English. The board for 2 is very generous, you can ask for a box to take the leftovers...😀

Only compliments! High quality cured meats and cheeses. Excellent gourmet sandwiches. Amazing cured meat sushi. Very kind and professional staff. Always smiling and kind at the counter. To try and return.

Very nice place with delicious local products. Family-run grocery store, you eat good paninis (very wide choice) with several tables. We took 8 sushi to share as an antipasto. Go there with your eyes closed and you will taste good homemade paninis made on site to order.

Excellent culinary experience, quality products, many delicacies, you are spoiled for choice and each dish is a new experience. The owner and his daughter are two very kind people who always welcome customers with a smile, they do their utmost to ensure that customers feel at ease and fully enjoy the dishes they prepare with care and love. A well-kept, familiar place, you feel at home. Definitely worth trying several times to try the various sandwiches (or flatbreads), one better than the other.

Excellent food....top cured meats and cheeses 🔝. Good variety of sandwiches or focaccias offered. The variety of wine and beer is a bit limited, but the goodness of the cured meats makes you forget to drink. Highly recommended

Da Carlo Salumeria – A hidden gem A truly unique shop! The Carlo Salumeria da Marcho may be small, but offers only the best of the best. The quality of the products is outstanding and the taste is simply incomparable. The operator and his daughters are very knowledgeable and provide advice with a lot of passion and specialist knowledge. What's particularly great is that you can try almost everything and eat in a small, cozy room - with space for a few to ten tables. The price-performance ratio is absolutely fair and unparalleled. But that's not all: they deliver worldwide! You can order online, by phone or email, and everything will be shipped anywhere. A great service that we have already used - absolutely amazing! For us, five stars are not enough – absolute recommendation!

04/02/2025: Imagine a Sunday at the end of January with a couple of friends who reach the wonderful Cathedral of Monreale, after visiting the Cloister and the interior of the Cathedral itself, full of mosaics that make you dream in their variegated colors and fantastic geometric designs, after admiring the Christ Pantocrator and the tombs of the rulers of the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies, you decide to take a lunch break, before going up to the roofs of the Cathedral, you can't miss going to the "Taverna del Pavone" a few dozen meters from the Piazza del Duomo. You will be welcomed by people who have treasured the local culinary tradition, transmitting human warmth and local flavors. Impeccable and punctual service, advice on what to choose, depending on your tastes. A cozy place full of references to the "Pavone" in all its artistic forms, from metal engraving, to majolica, to painted canvases and, last but not least, to the unique photos of Sicilian views taken by the chef, the owner's son. Art, food and kindness to fully spend your stay in this wonderful and history-rich city.
