I am leaving this review because there are no reviews from Koreans. I ate here with an Asian friend, and both the Carbonara and Rigatoni were too salty for our taste. Italian food tends to be salty in general, but I felt these were a bit too salty even compared to the pastas I've had while traveling. We also ordered the lamb, which was slightly better, but compared to the typical lamb I've eaten, it was very tender and tasted more like well-grilled chicken.

We had a lovely and very authentic experience at Armando al Pantheon. The atmosphere feels truly Roman, and the restaurant is clean, well-kept, and very attentive to detail.
The staff were excellent - professional, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. You can feel that they really care about their guests, which makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. We were lucky to get a table without a reservation since we arrived right at opening time, but I would definitely recommend booking in advance to be safe.
We ordered the carbonara and the cacio e pepe. The carbonara was excellent - rich, balanced, and exactly what you expect from a classic Roman dish. The cacio e pepe, I understand, is a matter of personal taste, but for me it was a bit too salty. The waiter kindly explained that this is normal due to the cheese and that it’s meant to be that way, though it was still slightly too much for my preference.
Despite that, everything else was spot on - from the service to the overall atmosphere. It’s one of those places where you feel taken care of without it being over the top.
Overall, prices are very reasonable for the quality, location, and level of service.
A great spot for an authentic Roman meal - definitely worth visiting.

It's difficult to book because it often sells out, and not until 30 days before the date. Very popular, good service, but a bit disappointed with some of the traditional Roman dishes.

A historic restaurant in the heart of Rome, one we'd heard about many times and finally managed to try.
A word of advice: make a reservation. We thought it would be easier to find a table at lunch without a reservation, but that wasn't the case. After an initial wait, we were promised a table inside, but upon returning, we were only offered a table outside, requiring another wait for the inside dining room.
That said, the service was still very kind and friendly.
We really enjoyed the appetizers, especially the cauliflower and tripe, which were truly flavorful and well-prepared. The pasta, on the other hand, was very al dente, a bit too al dente for our taste, although the high-quality ingredients were clearly evident.

I ate here yesterday with friends. It's a rustic, vintage-style place. The staff is not only kind, but friendly.
Traditional recipes and quality products. I recommend it to anyone who isn't looking for a tourist spot!

We had to book this restaurant a month in advance so we were expecting something special. We didn't get anything special. The cauliflower gratin pie was a very hot tasteless mush and at 13 euro hugely overpriced. The lamb was tender and tasty and served on the bone but was devoid of any seasoning. Maybe if it was cooked with garlic and rosemary it might have been better. It was served on its own so we ordered some roasted potatoes which were warm not hot but tasty enough. The spaghetti carbonara was very good and well worth trying. Wine was expensive enough. There were three empty tables at 8.30pm. The restaurant was 70% tourists and 30% locals. There is no atmosphere whatsoever in this famous Roman restaurant. A pleasant experience but certainly nothing to write home about.

It was a shitty, rainy day, but this dinner made it better. Perfect carbonara. Great ossobucco and saltimbocca. Feels like a great Roman dinner. 👍🏽 Best meal we had in Rome

We had dinner with the family and reserved a table in advance; it's impossible to get in off the street.
We went on a local recommendation; it's a 100% tourist spot, just a stone's throw from the Pantheon.
The menu isn't extensive, and the dishes weren't particularly impressive. The grilled lamb turned out to be deep-fried lamb, the teenagers didn't finish the pasta carbonara, and a bottle of wine starts at €40. The service was excellent; the sommelier and waiters were welcoming and polite.
All in all, €160 for a boring dinner...
I definitely wouldn't recommend it to my friends.
