Very good restaurant, the welcome is very good, the waiters are really very nice, the food is excellent. For our end of stay in Rome, we will return there, obligation to reserve in order to eat there.

Excellent visit. It was indeed delicious. Thank you, Armando’s, for living up to expectations. The server was fantastic. A dedicated sommelier worked with us to choose a wine for our taste and budget. The recipes were genuine. Prices were reasonable. Worth the “reservation” adventure, I’m happy we went. Be realistic with your expectations – if you want white-glove service and candle-lit quiet elegance – it’s not that kind of place. Instead, it’s “just” genuine. Yes, tourists eat there – that’s unavoidable in central Rome – but doesn’t make it a “tourist trap” regardless of Stanley Tucci Syndrome. Reservation process is hectic. You may get in some evenings anyway, as there were usually empty tables in the windows.

We had an amazing lunch … been trying to get in as last trip to Rome we could not get in ! Very happy to experience what other guests have been talking about ! Service was good by front of house with recommendations for wine and food. The Amatriciana is the best in Rome ! The toasted bread with straciatella cheese and anchovies - divine and eggplant parmigiana excellent ! The saltimbicca Alla Roma was well seasoned and tender! The staff was kind to portion the meals to 2 plates as we were sharing .. can’t wait to come back next time we are in Rome !

A cozy place and even though all of us who were in the restaurant were tourists, a certain magic of authenticity was felt. I think it's a good place to learn what good pasta should taste like.

Great place and the best Amatriciana in Rome .. the staff member so kind to split our meals into two plates as we were sharing our mains .. hard to get in ! But worth every cent !

The best restaurant I have visited in Rome. Spectacular pastas: carbonara and cacio e pepe (no other restaurant has surpassed them) Great starters: bruschetta with stracciattella and anchovies; bufala di pomodorino mozzarella. Very quiet place, despite its location and a service of 10. It must be recognized that the hospitality industry in Rome treats its customers very well.

I went with great expectations to eat their famous carbonara, I confess that after trying other places, also well recommended, it wasn't my favorite, but it was still great. The restaurant is very chic and very traditional Italian, and you need to make a reservation as it is busy. There are tables inside and few outside. The service was very good.

Popular restaurant close to the Pantheon, reservation is recommended.
We were very well attended to and the atmosphere was very good.
For starters, STRACCIATELLA AND ALICI and BUFALA AND CARCIOFO are very good.
For my taste, CARBONARA is a little salty, but very tasty and the pasta was not undercooked.
