22/06/2025: When I took a shared taxi from the airport in Rome to the hotel, the driver recommended this restaurant, saying, "Tourists rarely come here, it's delicious, and it's not too expensive."
It was a little far from the hotel, but I made a reservation and took the bus there.
A small old man who is probably the owner greeted me.
Since I had made a reservation, I was shown to my seat right away.
I was wondering what to order, but I ordered artichokes, carbonara, risotto, and house wine.
In Italy, bread is served, but this restaurant served baked pizza dough instead of bread.
It was super hot, a little salty, and crispy and delicious. I think this pizza dough is unique to this restaurant.
The artichokes are soft and have a gentle taste.
The carbonara noodles are thick, like a slightly thinner udon. The taste was very good.
I ordered the risotto with blue cheese, but it felt a little salty. But I think this is probably the normal taste. The rice was cooked to perfection, and I was impressed that the risotto at this restaurant is different.
It seemed like a restaurant loved by locals.
There was one group of people there who I thought might be tourists.
The restaurant seemed to be in a quiet area, a little different from the downtown area where we were staying, and seemed less noisy.
I was glad that we took the bus all the way here.
