Authentic yet creative Italian dishes. Highly recommended for those that want to experience true Italian cuisine and skip the mainstream tourist meals for a change.

Popular and authentic Italian restaurant. Best to make a reservation. We arrived at opening time in August 2025 (12:30 pm) and - having no reservation - had to get on a list and return 30 minutes later for a table. The restaurant was going to be closed starting 8/11 for the rest of August, so check the website or call to ensure it is open if you come during a holiday period. The boss runs a tight and fair ship and takes people in strict order on his wait list, which is admirable. This restaurant is a true gem and is not a tourist rip-off place despite being only a few steps from the Pantheon. Conveniently, there is an unrelated cafe across the street where you can have a drink while waiting for your table at Armando. Armando has a decent but somewhat limited menu that offers very well prepared traditional dishes. It is not as expensive as other places.

Truly an incredible restaurant! My husband and I didn't have a reservation and tried our luck on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. Surprisingly, we got a table! We received excellent service, and the food was delicious! It's definitely worth it!

Amazing service. Delicious food. The staff welcomed us in with 15 mins to close & took great care of us.

Not so kind staff, one of the worst pasta's we had in Rome

Este restaurante nos lo recomendaron nuestros camareros en el bar de la azotea de nuestro hotel, estoy tan contento de que éramos persistentes y tuvimos suerte de llegar a cenar aquí! Fue increíble, la comida, el servicio fue increíble. el sumiller sugirió una deliciosa botella de vino para acompañar los 3 diferentes platos de pasta que pedimos compartir, tuvimos la mozzarella y la alcachofa para un aperitivo y tengo que decir que volvería solo por eso! Es extremadamente difícil conseguir una reserva allí, si no fuera así habríamos comido allí todas las noches cuando estábamos en Roma

Si mangia bene da Armando al pantheon. Una cucina romana ben presentata e in linea con la tradizione. Da assaggiare la carbonara, minestra della suocera, abbacchio, coda vaccinara, trippa, faraona con i contorni di carciofi. Buona la varietà di cioccolato Da bere un cesarese Franco. Il locale è accogliente, anche se non molto caratteristico. Personale garbato e gentile. Prezzi un po' alti, ma ne vale la pena. e poi..... All'uscita vi attende il Pantheon e una magia unica... Una meraviglia
