This was fantastic. The raw fish was so fresh and delicious. The main course, Sicilian-style tuna and sea bass, was incredibly good. Excellent service, excellent and wide selection of wines. The locals love eating here, and we completely understand why.

We've been there twice because we loved it so much. The food is excellent, everything delicious, and the atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. If you want good, traditional food in the center of Catania, I recommend this place.

Best restaurant in the area. We spent 5 days in Catania and went here 4 times as other restaurants in the area are mostly tourist traps.

Bellisimo, the best seafood in town by far! We had three courses alongside wine. Really good octopus and swordfish with really beautiful flavours.

Siamo stati in questa trattoria perché sagnalataci e per le ottime recensioni… in realtà non ho trovato nulla dí corrispondente a quanto letto. Il piatto ordinato da mio marito non era disponibile; una lunga attesa per avere quanto ordinato che era buono nella media. Un po’ delusa.

IT siempre es un placer visitar el Antonio. Lo he hecho durante muchos años y siempre recibimos un servicio estupendo. La comida es de muy alta calidad. No te pierdas esta joya junto al Castello Urbino.

Ristorante Il Commercio

28/10/2025: Came here at 10pm and it was still having a nice crowd of locals hanging out there. Delicious food with unbeatable prices, an authentic Sicilian non-touristy restaurant run by three generations of family together. One of the best dining experiences we ever had in Catania!♥️
