I was here 2 times in 6 days, everythig is so delicious and service was amaizing, staff so friendly. I will check this place again next time in Catania for sure !

Excellent seafood restaurant in the center, far from the touristy atmosphere of other locations. Refined and well-cooked food. Excellent raw vegetables and spaghetti with sea urchins.

Something must have happened in the kitchen when we were there for lunch.
After the first courses, we had to wait over 40 minutes for the second courses, which all came out at once.
A shame, because despite the owner's kindness, the lunch was ruined, and the wait put us off, and overall the dishes weren't exceptional. Could it have been bad luck?

We went based on reviews, and from our experience, it was a mistake, perhaps due to a lack of understanding...
There were three of us. Two of us ate within a reasonable amount of time, and the third had a snack. Luckily, we complained twice. Also, given the results of the dishes (scallopini and spaghetti with clams), the delay wasn't justified.

Abbiamo cenato in questa trattoria nel cuore del centro storico di Catania.
Pesce fresco e diversi piatti.
Abbiamo preso anche una bottiglia di vino e diviso gli spaghetti allo scoglio. Dolci e amaro offerto.
Speso circa 90 euro. Però ne vale la pena.

Wir haben aufgrund der guten Bewertungen hier reserviert und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Eine übersichtliche Karte mit bodenständigen, typischen Gerichten und sehr ehrlichen Preisen. Man setzt hier auf Qualität und nicht auf Masse. Unsere ausgesuchten Speisen bestätigten dies noch einmal ganz deutlich. Alles frisch und in ausgezeichneter Qualität.
Besonders hervorheben möchte ich zudem den sehr professionellen jedoch nicht steifen Service. Die Einrichtung ist eine gelungene Variante neu interpretierter, typisch klassischer, italienischer Trattoria mit ordentlicher Tischdecke sowie Stoffserviette ( juchuuu!) dafür ohne kitschigem Tinnef.
Eine absolute Empfehlung!
