The wine selection is top-notch. The owner is very friendly and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable.

An absolute highlight in Anghiari! Whether it was the appetizer, main course, or dessert, everything was a dream. Every composition was perfect down to the last detail, and the drink recommendations were perfectly matched. The owner and her husband are a fantastic team: warm, attentive, and with a true passion for good food. She had a great story to tell about every dish, and you can feel the love and skill that goes into every plate. A fantastic chef and a beautiful restaurant. Highly recommended! 🇮🇹❤️

Traveling through central Italy and wandering the streets of beautiful Anghiari, I stumbled upon this place by chance. I found the authentic Tuscan osteria, just what I was looking for. A wonderful experience. Excellent food. I'll be back...🍷

Passion and professionalism style.

We thoroughly enjoyed our evening meal at Da Alighiero. Service was friendly and attentive and the food was excellent. Highly recommended and will return before we leave Anghiari.

What can I say... The owner is not very friendly.... And the POS doesn't work, cash only.... Good dishes make up for it, even if the prices aren't in line with the quality.

After an evening spent here, I'm ashamed to say that, despite being from Anghiari, I'd never been to Alighiero's! A divine experience...I absolutely want to return! An enchanting place...it feels like being in a cellar, surrounded by bottles of wine and various antiques, yet maintaining a refined and elegant style. Gianni, the owner, is the soul of the restaurant...a friendly yet professional host...he explains each course in detail and knows how to best recommend dishes based on your personal tastes. Silvia's cuisine is sublime; I highly recommend the chicken liver salad with Vin Santo and the suckling pig in date sauce, which literally enchanted me! What can I say...I can only reiterate that this is a place I absolutely want to return to! Highly recommended!
