I give 3 stars because 1 liter of water, 1/2 of wine, 2 starters, 2 first courses, 1 dessert and 2 coffees for €92 seems really too much to me!!!! Among other things, I only have a receipt without the list of individual pieces. It was all very good, welcoming for us and the dogs but too expensive!

We shared a lovely evening at Da Alighiero, which is just a short walk from the main square, Piazza Baldaccio, in Anghiari. The Florentine steak was amazing, the wine was delicious and the atmosphere was cozy and romantic. We had the opportunity to meet the proprietor, Sylvia, who is such a delightful and interesting woman - she was so welcoming, both to her restaurant and to the town. I can guarantee we will be back!

This restaurant was a lucky find. We arrived after 2pm, hungry and already turned away from 2 restaurants in Anghiari. We were supposed to keep going and find Ristorante da Alighiero... we were warmly welcomed and I had the best meal of my life. Home made pasta with delicate fresh flavours. Liver cooked perfectly, panna cottage with a rose jelly made with roses from the owner/ chef's garden......a delicious Sangiovese. Now I look it up and see only 4.1 stars !!!I can't believe it! Very reasonably priced for a perfect meal and welcoming service service. So memorable.

We were at Da Alighiero with 4 people and agreed: the best meal on our trip to Italy. We were warmly welcomed and well advised. The portions were so sufficient, even for hungry men in a restaurant where more than one course is usually ordered, that everyone was full after sharing a starter, main course and shared dessert. We were thrilled with the taste and quality. The apple pie, based on a recipe from Silvia's mother, was perhaps not typically Tuscan but delicious.
The price was appropriate, especially for the quality. Thanks for the great evening, if we come to the area again we will eat there again.

Everything about this place is memorable. Really quality homemade food, an imaginative menu, a huge selection of wine and wonderful personal customer service. The pasta is all homemade and served with delicious sauces. We visited with a child in a wheelchair and got in easily, the table height was perfect and the hosts made sure we were comfortable. A must visit place. We will certainly go back.

Auf meinem Besuch in Anghiari lief ich an diesem von außen doch recht unscheinbaren Laden vorbei.
Einzig die Sticker des Michelin, welche das Lokal als Empfehlung für die Jahre 2023,2022,2021….etc auszeichnen sind mir doch ins Auge gestochen.
2 Tage später war es dann so weit und ich kehrte mit meiner Partnerin hier ein.
Was soll ich groß sagen, der Name Gastgeber passt für die beiden perfekt wir wurden herzlich begrüßt und konnten uns fast wie zuhause fühlen.
Grade Silvia mit der wir uns auf Deutsch unterhalten konnten, war es ein Spaß über die persönliche oder auch Historie des Lokals uns zu unterhalten.
Aber auch die Empfehlungen von ihr bezüglich Essen waren herausragend.
Egal ob Antipasti, Primi, Secundi und Dolci alle Speisen waren sehr gut.
Besonders die Entenbrust und die PannaCotta mit Rosengelee sind mir im Kopf geblieben. Und beim Gedanken daran läuft mir auch wieder das Wasser im Mund zusammen.
Ich bedanke mich für den schönen Abend und verspreche wenn ich in diese Region zurückkehre werde ich hier wieder einkehren.

Wir sind durch die Empfehlung von Tripadvisor zu diesem Lokal gekommen.
Ein sehr stimmungsvolles Restaurant, nette Atmosphäre , der Chef persönlich hat sich um uns gekümmert.
Als Vorspeise haben wir eine Salat mit Ruccola, Fenchel, Orangenfilets und Parmesan gewählt. Ein absolut tolles Geschmackserlebnis ! Unglaublich frisch, fruchtig, intensiv - so schmeckt der Sommer in der Toskana - eines der bester Gerichte, die wir je gegessen haben.
Die Ravioli mit Steinpilzen gefüllt, ebenfalls fantastisch.
Die glasweise Weinbegleitung sehr interessant und gut.
Abschließend ein sehr guter Espresso.
Insgesamt große Küche , absolute Empfehlung.
