A little gem with simple but good-quality dishes. Excellent location (Tuscania's historic center...). Rustic, simple, and truly ridiculously low prices. I come here from Rome to experience this kind of atmosphere. Those who leave negative reviews are probably looking for the plasticity of fake restaurants with gourmet service and waiters in suits and ties. Those who complain about the endless wait are probably used to the admittedly fast service at McDonald's. I feel so sorry for them; I'll keep the wooden table with the checkered tablecloth, the homey atmosphere, and the pergola surrounded by greenery. €15: First course, second course, side dish, wine, bread, and coffee. Complaining about this experience means having a misguided view of life and failing to appreciate the true beauty this place offers.

A lovely inn with good food, a lovely, evocative outdoor setting under climbing trees. A lovely experience, good food, good value, and a lovely location, but you have to enjoy nature because of the Etruscan and ancient Roman-style climbing plants. I loved it, the beautiful decor.

A trattoria in the center of Tuscania, with very simple decor and home-style cooking. The portions aren't huge, and they don't give you a menu with the prices for each course. You order verbally from the waitress, who will list everything for you. Excellent value overall.

Informal and homey atmosphere, typical of an old village inn. Good food, set menu at super-prices. It's definitely worth a visit to Tuscania and stopping at Alfreda for a meal.

17/08/2025: I dined at the inn's restaurant on the evening of my birthday. I'd seen the place by chance, strolling through Tuscania one afternoon, and I have to say it was a truly perfect choice. The place is small and very intimate, with a beautiful view of the church of San Pietro illuminated at night. The food was excellent. It's refined, not ordinary, and very carefully prepared. Everything was beautifully presented and very tasty. You can tell they're making things with love. The young man who served us was wonderful. Super kind, very, very nice, not intrusive, and above all, very young. The owner was friendly and attentive to detail. Overall, a place I recommend if you're passing through Tuscania or if you're a local. I'll definitely be back. They even gave me a little heart with the word "Happy Birthday" written on it, which was unexpected and appreciated. Thank you.
12/08/2025: Found a restaurant by chance, and it was a very pleasant surprise. Very good cuisine and good value for money. Go there without hesitation.

21/10/2025: On the day of the chestnut festival, despite all the crowds, we had a wonderful meal. The fixed-price menu was good and of good quality. The owner and staff were very kind and helpful. If I were ever in the area again, I'd gladly return.
