Great steak spot in Trastevere! I went there with my friends. The steak was very delicious, perfectly cooked, and served with an excellent baked potato(extra payment). The quality of the food was impressive and everything tasted fresh. The service was also very good—staff were friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Overall, a really enjoyable dining experience. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and would happily come back again.

We visited Ristorante Da Augusta, in the heart of Trastevere, for both lunch and dinner, allowing us to experience the restaurant at two different times of the day, fully appreciating the cuisine.
For lunch, we chose traditional Roman dishes. The carbonara deserves a special mention: delicious, perfectly creamy, flavorful but not heavy, a true Roman carbonara made with care and respect for tradition. A dish worth the visit alone.
In the evening, we returned specifically to try the pizza, ordering four different pizzas, all Roman-style—thin, crispy, and well-cooked:
• the classic margherita, simple but well-made, with balanced ingredients;
• the capricciosa, rich and filling, although I personally found the presence of a hard-boiled egg on top somewhat detracted from the harmony of flavors;
• the Augusta pizza, the house specialty, with mozzarella and zucchini flowers: we asked for the anchovies to be removed, resulting in a pizza with a more delicate flavor, very balanced, and truly enjoyable;
• Another Margherita Augusta, a more distinctive variation on the classic, tasty and well-executed.
To conclude, we ordered several desserts: a melting chocolate heart with hot chocolate, delicious and freshly made; a well-executed and satisfying crème brûlée; and a delicious tiramisu, although I found it a bit too wet with coffee, a detail that could be improved.
Overall, the restaurant is truly excellent; the food is good both at lunch and dinner, and the atmosphere is typical and lively Trastevere. It's definitely a place we'll return to again without a second thought.
Finally, I'd like to emphasize one important aspect: the staff is not Italian, but composed of Albanians and other nationalities, who demonstrate great professionalism, passion, and expertise, cooking better than many Italian restaurants and fully respecting tradition.
