A small place of great refinement, simplicity and capacity. Real, amazing handmade couscous with six equally excellent seasoning options. Excellent Sicilian beer and pleasant glasses of wine. Homemade bread making, kneaded in front of me while I eat, wonderful. The owners are welcoming and highly trained. Don't expect 1/2/3 stars, but a simple, small trattoria of great charm. Well done

In one word...exceptional!!! The only place in Rome to eat couscous made to perfection, quality raw materials, the place is really welcoming. Owner attentive to satisfying all requests, after all there were 10 of us... to be repeated! Thank you with all my heart

A corner of Sicily in Rome. It is a restaurant specializing in couscous prepared in the Sicilian way, with meat, fish and vegetarian sauces. You can also enjoy excellent appetizers and good and unique desserts, such as "tiramicus", a sort of tiramisu prepared with couscous. The place is not very large so it is advisable to reserve a table in advance. The staff is very kind and helpful.

The dish I came for is "come da Carmelo" that is, couscous made like his brother did in Marina di Ragusa. It was because it closed and is about to reopen no one knows where. The dish is very good, the same flavor as the dish it was inspired by. Something different in the processing of couscous semolina and, understandably, on fish as an ingredient. For the rest it is fantastic, even served on the same plate as his brother.

We came here for a quick lunch.
The menu offers couscous, Sicilian appetizers and desserts. You can choose the portion size (small/medium/large) and a topping (vegetarian, meat and fish alternatives are available).
We had an appetizer and two fish couscous.
The starter, baked breaded swordfish with fennel and orange salad, was very good and balanced. The couscous is seasoned with cinnamon and toasted almonds; we added prawn catalan and octopus ragù. Both condiments were good, but the prawn Catalan was a little dry and didn't add much flavor to the couscous, which seemed to me to be basically sweet. I'll start by saying that I liked it anyway, as I don't use a lot of salt when I cook, but I would suggest putting seasonings such as oil/salt/pepper separately, so as to be closer to everyone's tastes!
The staff was very kind and helpful even though we arrived a little late.
Adequate quality-price ratio.

Locale piccolino e il cous cous la fa da padrone. È possibile ordinare anche alcuni piatti siciliani caratteristici come il macco o la caponata. Piatti gustosi. Prezzi un po' alti...

Ristorante quasi di nicchia ma, per chi ama il cus cus, qui troverà il suo regno. Cucinato divinamente, sicilianamente,sgranato a mano e condito con fantasia è un piatto da assaporare lentamente gustando tutti i profumi e gli odori di Sicilia. Sublime anche la caponata. Innovativo ma, ottimo,il tiramisù fatto con il cus cus imbevuto di caffè. Servizio cordialissimo, locale piccolino(prenotazione necessaria) anche da asporto. Il prezzo? Forse "limerei" qualcosa anche se tutto è di qualità eccellente e, la qualità...
