Culinaria de Gustibus Bistro In Firenze

On our recent trip to Florence, we enjoyed two wonderful meals at Culinaria. We had to return for the second time after the first positive experience. The food is creative with ingredients that are novel but complimentary to the dishes. From zucchini flowers stuffed with cheeses so that the flavors of every ingredient is layered in each bite, to pastas with delicate and delicious sauces, Andrea's menu motivated us to return to experience more from the menu. Other menu items we had and were loved by each person who ordered them: The burger, The scallops and the Baccala. We enjoyed the Florentine bistecca here which was perfectly cooked and presented to the table by one of Andrea's chef team. I've included a photo of the menu, but I know it may change with seasonal ingredients. The atmosphere of the restaurant is enjoyable combining original architecture with modern touches of artistic decor. Most of all it was all served and presented by the owner Andrea, who made us feel welcome, made special recommendations, and helped make our two meals at his restaurant an integral memory to our special family vacation.

There is no need to go to extremes to react to an unwelcome review, there are non-trivial paper placemats, and the portions need not be "overflowing" ... but not even "mignon" ... given that the ingredients are of average quality ... trying to ridicule the customers does not give good publicity to the restaurant... which offers cooking opportunities that are not entirely exceptional.... I'm sorry but there is much better around, also for respect and attention.

Excellent restaurant a little out of the center, friendly and very nice. We had hummus as an appetizer (superlative) and courgette flowers stuffed with ricotta. Fish main courses were very good. We must return to try the rest and the wines that will certainly be up to par. It means that I have a great excuse for a second visit. And then a third, and then...

What a wonderful experience! The food was unreal, and the service possibly the best I've ever had. Highly recommend the asparagus starter, and the deserts are to die for. Thank you!

The staff are very friendly, and the food was the best food I’ve had. Staff recommendations were on point, and they have an English menu for tourists, but experience is authentic in an area that has less foot traffic than the other side of the bridge. Pleasant evening among friends with children, at the Culinaria we had a good time eating alternative dishes to the classic Tuscan cuisine, excellent Vermentino from Bolgheri and impeccable service. Very good food, for me the tortello on cauliflower cream is the best!!

Spectacular dinner in Florence, dishes with attention to every detail prepared with top quality ingredients! Friendly staff highly recommended!

Under 10 års tid har vi kommit 2 gånger per år till Florens och vi älskar det. Denna restaurang hittade vi av ett tillfälle och otroligt glada är vi för det! Maten är helt fantastisk, en ren lycka från vi kom tills vi gick. Matcha sedan detta med en härlig service och bra vin från små lokala producenter så är man i himmelriket. Vi kommer utan tvekan tillbaka! Rekommenderas starkt!
