We came with my mom and my children on a weekday evening and we had a great time. The products are fresh and of high quality. The person serving is passionate and shares his love for cooking and products with us. There is not a large menu but it is more than sufficient and a guarantee of quality and freshness. It is worth traveling from other parts of Rome to eat here: quality products, market ingredients and everything homemade, even the desserts and fresh pasta. It is also very well decorated and Francesca explains each dish and each wine with devotion and wisdom. Highly recommended.

I invited my friends to dinner at this place, whose menu I had seen on the fork. In reality, the menu they presented to us was completely different, with few courses and almost all fish-based (it wasn't what we were looking for). Despite everything, we ordered and ate well-cooked dishes. The service did not satisfy us: the waitress was not very friendly, was unable to give us advice and caused us anxiety when ordering. Prices too high, especially for water and bread.

Such a lovely place, and such an inviting atmosphere -- and the food is amazing. Each dish was picture perfect and exquisitely tasty. Service is patient and sweet. Cannot recommend Cucina del Mercato highly enough. Certainly a diamond in a working-class neighborhood.
